I'd prefer another MoPo type - younger, forward thinking, on an upward curve, attacking and attractive football. That said Moyes would bring some qualities: we'd be hard to beat, and if he replicated what he did at Everton we could find ourselves consistent top 8 with the odd push for Europe. Would feel slightly underwhelmed by him though - I want to be entertained!

Yep. Although if the board's view was that MP wouldn't sign - or would only do so if he wasn't offered the Spurs role - then it would make sens to have initial discussions with potential replacements.

Test of our board will be just how quickly, and of what calibre replacement comes in. If we get a statement saying 'we'll now start the search for a new manager' I'll be mightily ****ed off. Surely they'd have ideas on a replacement already.

The reflection of the guy in the shiny wall looks wrong. His hair looks shorter/smoother in the reflection; there is a sheen on his forehead yet that part of his head is in shadow. Has he got a ponytail in the reflection, or is that a reflection of MoPos sons head? If the latter it doesn't look right; if the former why can't we see it on the guy?

In a change to the ongoing meltdown discussions.......... I'm interested if anyone can shed some light on what goes on with Saints players in the way of post-season training? Clearly those away on international will be still training full time, but what about those who aren't? Guessing it's not a case of finish the last game and bugger off for a few weeks. Presumably there's fitness assessments, off-season training schedules etc. Do players still go into Staplewood for 'formal' sessions with the coaches? Are they required to train on their own? What do they get in the way of actual holiday time? Interested if anyone can share some factual info on this.
