Indeed, from what I gather he was a fine player and a cult hero. Also had a cracking shot on him too, with todays refs he would never of been on the pitch.

Was one of my favourite players as a lad, he was that tough he would make Ince and Keane run for Fergies comfort blanket. I never understood why we sold him when we did.

Oh ffs ...how many games have you actually seen Martin play?? Why is it hilarious that some can see things you in your blinkered know it all wisdom cant? Martin has had some very good performances - ok a few dodgy but so was Fonte earlier in the year.

I wondered whether this would be a way around the no beer purchase until an hour after kick off rule? As no money changes hands but you can get it off your loaded card. Although I wouldn't use it much as there are better pubs serving better beer its worth missing the queues over the footbridge.

We had 2 fantastic games this season against your under 15s in Tyro - both games played in great spirit, boys given 100%, played the right way end to end attack and team playing good passing football. The parents on both sides were great too which is a big plus in Tyro.

Serves me right for not reading it...... they normally sell tickets on a Sunday ;-) I bought FA Cup ones for Millwall ...wish I hadn't!!

I don't think they do have better players....the money I agree with. I think Reading are on the up and our biggest threat joint with Blackpool so he could be in the Prem next year anyway for a full season rather than just 12 or so games.

Why would he leave Reading though....decent enough ground, rich owners, relatively low expectations amongst fans to go to Wolves who will go down as their time has come - poor defensively. Although I think his salary will be low at Reading as he came from within and Wolves would be offering a good deal.

Maddog do your level 1 coaching badge..its the best thing I have done - I realised what a pain in the arse I was as a watching parent! Its not hard and just a turn up and go through the pack but you get to see how it should be done properley rather than just a few dads turn up every week. The thing that drives me nuts is watching those dads just send the boys run round the pitch as a warm up!

Blackpool will walk that if they play like they did versus Cardiff. I see them and Reading as more of a threat than Boro or B'ham.

Do any of you run teams? We are having a great season this year after finishing second bottom last. Did a bit of a cull, upped our training and this year 3rd and just reached a cup final at AFC Totton ground. As a coach its great to see them enjoy it so much after last year. Some interesting moves I see in Tyro trying to make it non-competitive leagues for under 11/12s and 9 a side instead of 11 which I think is a good move. Nothing worse for the poor young goalies in massive goals. will make the touchlines a happier place too!

I think HMRC have done it again for the 3rd time and cocked this up with the -20 comment - the FL will now say we won't be dictated to and its -10 because.....or then again Corp Ho may be right and it will be 0 :-)

Sharp added the thing we have been missing all season...someone who can turn the defence round with quick darting runs. He looks as though he needs to get a bit fitter and a bit more mobile but when he does its quality positioning. I though Cork was outstanding, Lallana back to his best and Lambert was on a different planet - amazing performance.

Ask them next season when the 2nd season curse kicks in. My 2 season tickets went up 42% this year lets see if you say the same when yours does next year.
