Give it to Ron replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Post #12 http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?32941-Football-League-show-Highlights That shows it clearly what the ref saw. -
Got mine - anyone know the best place to park?
-
Try the ones at the Nuffield or get a referral to Sports Injury Clinic. Soton General also had one you could visit in the evenings

My nieces husband is part of the detachment just gone out there - we are all really worried!
-
I am sure it was promoted at a recent game on the bridges and by the King Alfred with leaflet handout in fact think it was Steve Bull handing them out.
-
Dodgy and we are not in the Prem so it doesnt matter. We would have different set up if that happens.
-
Chopra....the little snidey git oh and Earnshaw as well

Do the club still employ a PR company to post on messageboards?

Hahahahah how wrong can one person be.... -
He did and said as much in person to me at an awards thing I was at..... "I do not go anymore as I am expected to pay....." Cortese cannot win this war against MLT and both should bury the hatchet....can I suggest in the back of The Sun editor.

I dont think many people are TBH we all know its early days and that it can go wrong quickly lets just enjoy it for the time being. We have had some bad years recently so its great to be on the way back. My expectations this season were consolidation and the hope we can compete. Today at times we were different class...the quality of the forward play had me in raptures and I have such a smile on my face tonight after that game. Enjoying it while it lasts....5 more wins and we are safe from relegation ;-)

If you cannot enjoy the first 45 minutes today and applaud at the quality of goals you should stop watching Saints it doesn't get much better in this division. We simply were magnificent coming forward. Ok the defence is still a bit jittery but they will get it right I am sure. Fox and Joos were good today and Frazier delivered 2 quality crosses. Cork and Hammond were immense with their workrate. I would still like to see another forward who can hold it up more and has a bit of pace to turn them around but its hard to pick who to drop. We have some quality on the bench...wish we could have 7 subs. De Ridder and Chaplow to start on Wednesday and Forte up front needs a run out just in case we get an injury. Also a mention for Guly who ran his nuts off today.

My dad played for them and played with John Sydenham in that side. I can remember he had this really big picture of Ted presenting him with a cup.

He made it worse I think after missing one away at Coventry when he said he would never miss another one! Funny thing is I was even calling us to re-sign him last season as cover...his division is league one really. I always knew McG would get slated and posted as much from the reports I used to write on the old site from youth and ressie games. You could see his lazy gait would not go well with Saints fans that need to see that players try. He had skill but just didn't have that turn of pace to get him away from defenders.

Not even BWP???
-
So we got 12m for Chamberlain and couldnt tempt anyone here...so some of you want 5m and let our main goal scorer go. Baffled.....for those who think he is not good enough...get a re-run of Qpr v Newcastle and watch Jay Bothroyd and Best's performance!
-
I would rather we play Balcombe, Tomlinson and Wood than Jones or Ali. Play the youth they have the desire rather than crocked players too frightened to go all out.

Gooooaaallllll

Thing is Simon Saints fans did do many things to help, I know for a fact that at Chase Manhattan where I was working at that time there were loads of Saints fans that put into the weekly buckets that were passed around to save the AFCB. So then we play you on the night our mayor gets killed in a sea boat accident and you lot boo and hiss through the minutes silence! Ungrateful ...too bleeding right and all this crap about us always bringing it up is just you lot pretending it didnt happen and we helped bail you out and no burying your heads will change that. Having worked in Bournemouth for many years I have an affinity....even watched you a few times but after last season and the way you lot acted not a chance...don't want to see any club go out of business but you get what you deserve. I remember about 3 or 4 years ago I came to watch you play Gillingham who had about 60 fans....you had about 100 stewards surrounding them and the pitch!! Cost effective and well run my arse!

We had the same problem yesterday with Hants cup as they do it in 2 year gaps u11 u13 u15 big problem being that between 13-15 there is a massive growth spurt for many and physical size in one year age can be massive. We played a Portchester u14 side who were a year younger...some of their players were just about coming up to the chest of our lot! We won 15-1 but neither side got anything out of the game really.....apart from the obvious!

We only train once a week because a few also play for other teams and train with them, with school games as well we try not to overtrain and play them. I did a bit of research on the injury and it appears it is 15-40 year olds so just at the start of their age range. Thanks all will try a few suggestions as well with stretching and more muscle strengthening.
-
Thanks yes you have - the thing is I do quite a bit of this and am puzzled why now...I split sessions into warm up, jogging, stretch, stamina, drill, technique and then finally small sided games and this has just started to happen. Huffton do I need sponsorship from Andrex and Specsavers?
-
Does anyone else run a football team on here? We suddenly are experiencing a run of the same injury (3) groin ligaments 'popping' - all towards middle/end of sessions when the lads are well warmed up. All occurences are doing different drills, shooting, crossing and one just taking a penalty. Lads are all 14/15.

Take the Skytrain to Howard Johnson then get a 7 day subway card ...its cheaper doing it that way. Staff are friendly and can help. Great value and so easy to get around. Some funny sights....like the guy trying to hump the hole in the ticket barrier at 2 am. Unbelievable musicians and buskers.

Well someone has to pay for his talentless bints plastic surgery....

I think I met her...she was wearing a Pompey crested burkha with braces and dungarees
