What age range...I help out at youth level but have contacts in clubs that have all age ranges. We have 14 sides.

If he was that unhappy would he be putting in appearances representing the club at social functions? He turned up at Mountbatten school last week as part of the Saints team that took on the Royals in the annual sports quiz. Saints lost as usual ;-)

Totally disagree...he has been exactly what we have needed in some games - a terrier - closing down and not giving them space. He is the only midfielder I have seen go beyond the strikers in years at SMS. Ok he hasnt been as good as his previous loan spell but he didnt play much before coming here and is still getting match fitness. Sharpen up his passing and we have a gem and youngish too.

Well if anyone is sending scouts to watch him this season they will go away and say don't bother to the manager.

Now I know why Guly went to right midfield against Shrewsbury. I am not going to join the wrist slitters on here...but I do find this an odd one. Seeing as he has been loaned out and not stayed anywhere for long it does make you wonder if its a personality clash. Puncheon has ability but he has not shown much of that this season.

He did actually....to be another example of Lowes cheap methods, if we had appointed a decent manager not a useless twonk like Hoddle we would of been fine there were loads of other choices. If we had kep Pearson and not gone for Dutch experiments etc etc etc

Disappointing result - I didnt like the formation at the start - hopefully Adkins has that one out of his system now and will not try that again. Beat Posh and Brighton and we are back on track.

Coventry, MK Dons 2 more?? Or alternatively look at Spurs...did they expand or get in a better manager and invest in players?

Well tell that to Leeds who have a bigger stadium than any of the teams you mentioned....didn't help them much.

Am I missing something here....didn't we have gates of 31k every week? The problem was we never spent it on managers or quality players...we went for cheap options like Gray, Wigley, Dutch experiments who all failed and over inflated our squad with mediocrity. Whereas Fulham went for Hughes, Blackburn Big Sam, Everton have Moyes and no money....the most important thing at a club is the manager not the size of the stadium in isolation. We have a big enough stadium that will do us for years and don't need to expand, football will implode soon and we need to be able to survive. Look at Brighton 93m?? on a 22k stadium.

Will wait and see if we get through first.....been a fan too long to think otherwise.

you forget such trivial things...but you can buy match tickets in the Saints store in WestQuay. I had forgotten you could and walked in looking for stuff for the lad for Christmas - so bought Cheltenham tickets... so easy.

Mack rill You seem ok for a Skate but what do you think of the latest farce eminating from your club....as they have stripped down everything to bare bones they now need to ramp things up with Chanrai now the owner and are sending out requests to clubs asking them to become feeder clubs? True ....my nippers club in Winchester got one.

We need a different option to Lambert and Barnard...Waigo last season gave us that - someone with pace and guile who could get the defence turning and facing their own goal. Neither Lambert or Barnard can do this and we rely on quick to feet passing to set them up - something that we didnt do well yesterday it was all too slow a tempo. That is what I think is missing pace up front so the midfield can hit the channels when they have no other option.
