  1. Jim that used to run the memorabilia shop in St Marys had a stall selling old shirts at the Forest game opposite the Alfred and were very cheap.
  2. Smith was absolutely shocking and had no idea - was beaten in the air everytime. Playing on the right the full back knew he didnt have the pace or skill to get by him so kept blocking that off and forced him onto his left foot and covered any cross..forced him back and back. Oh for a manager that can see things early and make changes quickly (well for JP 45 mins is quickly)...remember Billy Davies you know the man that only plays long ball and bringing on Shaun Teale after 20 minutes stopping Bale marauding in the league game the other year.
  3. If that experience was in this country yes I agree but not in the 2nd tier of Dutch football that is totally alien to the CC. As I have posted on many occasions we all know we had to rely on youth but there have been 5 or 6 stupid loan signings that could of been used on more experienced pro's like Perry, Lucketti to mix in and not totally reliant on young 16/17 year olds.
  4. Going on this season KD
  5. So Derby are giving tickets away with Pedigree beer http://hotukdeals.com/item/300470/pedigree-500ml-glass-free-football-/ What shall we give ours away with....our award winning , nuked Chicken Balti pies?
  6. But the Super Rich South Africans are bailing them out?
  7. I'll second that and add... DD and Alpine finally get a room together and cheer the **** up!
  8. Rubbish slag him when he is poor but today he wasn't and competed and battled well. He held the ball up and linked up play between midfield and attack. Try watching what is happening on the pitch not what others want to here on this forum.
  9. McGoldrick looked far better today playing just behind Paterson and for once we actually had bodies in the box - all we need now is to get on the end of the crosses. Still toothless but twice as good as the last home game.
  10. Today taking Smith off...but you would of had to be blind not to see that he was absolute carp! But then he put Bradley on the left and Holmes on the right which at first I couldnt believe but then bang on with McLaggon coming on the right for Holmes just what was needed.
  11. Complete utter ******** Perry was outstanding and won loads of last ditch challenges. I have not had chance to see the goal again but first impression was KD late coming off his line. Good performances from Gobern, Skacel, Cork and McGoldrick did very well today.
  12. Still is....same as when Warnock, Fat Sam etc but this forum has no clout at all and its just a place to air views even though they have forgotten more than JP will ever know about the English game. I couldn't care less who was in charge as long as we win - 25 passes and end up back at the keeper is pointless - 3 passes into the net is far better in my eyes.
  13. But its all false optimism and they are feeding off you, the state the club is in and your loyalty and they are all laughing at the fans on here who are desperate for a takeover. Its like us hoping we sign an Iwelumo and Upson those are the chances as much as a takeover so get wise mate and give it up.
  14. Exactly BBB good post - I am sick of all these idiots getting their kicks on here falsely raising fans hopes. I now take the stance that they are all bull****ters who couldn't deliver a pizza let alone a takeover package. The money required to buy out Wilde or Lowe is chicken feed to them yet all they do is hide behind false promises.
  15. They didnt last time though did the so why would they now when the World economy is far worse?
  16. Compared to some of the rubbish we played under Burley and then D&G then yes it is some of the most attractive football in ages. Compared to some of the stuff under WGS like the Charlton 3-2 game then its bull**** but even under Sturrock we had some great football Newcastle at home. As I said early yes we can pass the ball far better than any side recently but there is no end product and our top 3 goalscorers out on loan and never likely to return so will remain toothless. We are stuck with recruiting dross but there is no excuse for keeping a manager that is so far out of his depth it hurts - we may as well recruit a Tyro manager then as there are some nice blokes there who are cheap like JP.
  17. The 3 post rule is there as a tolerance level against hor****e like this. We can only suffer 3 of your posts a day! No-one mentioned fantastic football against Sheff U and Bristol we just used those games as an example to prove you wrong and you don't like that. For a Morgan who appears to have the constitition of Delgado we have Gasmi, Pulis, Robertson, Smith, Forecast who have been such a success and you criticise Pericard (who was ****e agreed) Get over your hated of Pearson - none of us think he was the Messiah just that given that he did the job he was asked then should of been given the opportunity to carry on. As for some of the best football seen - yes we can string 25 passes together and end up back at the goalie but given the fact that we have won 1 game at home this season and a manager incapable of making any decison to either hold on or change the formation some of us can see our arse from our elbow.
  18. I was looking at my dads signed copy last night - a great read and brought back some great memories. One picture that had Gabriel, Walker, McGrath made me wince and how we could do with any one of those now.
  19. Well we did not play that football in many of the games I watched last year - Bristol City and Sheff Utd were not long ball games at all. So you would rather see 25 passes in our half and then back to the keeper rather than 4 and in the net - well it takes all sorts. You must of hated the Strachan era with Beattie as the target man.
  20. Have a look at the Telegraph.
  21. Just announced in Administration I guess this is another in a long line to be announced .
  22. Did you actually read any of the posts before your rant? The answer to the question was regard to yesterday and the actions at the AGM. Where does it say financial genius on any of the replies? My stance is the same as always I want rid of the 3. The nutter, the coward and the walker.
  23. As soon as you walk out of any meeting you have lost. Chorley was a fool and given Lowe further ammunition against "the lunatic fringe". The thing that annoys me the most that Judas Coward Wilde comes away scot free. Definately a win for Lowe whether its a case of winning a battle but losing the war only time will tell.
  24. Think this may be one reason http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11127 just think how much that experienced 20 game career will help us.
  25. A dissenting voice against what is happening on the pitch? Just a guess and no fact but age does sometimes mean you feel qualified to offer an opinion whereas the younger kids would be too frightened to. If its freeing up wages I am a bit concerned as for every Jack Cork we have had Pulis, Gasmi, Smith, Robertson and Pekhart
