Our tempo is soooo slow I switched over and watched a bit of Millwall v Stoke who played light years ahead of our plodding system. Is this Still’s French standard? Exactly we bought the others but needed someone to get on the end of Fellows, Wee man and Scienza crosses. We put so many crosses deep yesterday but no one was there ever!!

Because his play and teams need an outlet hold up player to bring the others in to play. The first ten minutes yesterday I saw some great play haven’t seen from us in ages. Once Stewart went that’s it gone. I saw in that ten what we could be but can’t without a striker we didn’t buy - he now has to adapt with what we have if that’s an u21 or Aribo I don’t know .

Not really if you include Hull as well - Woods , Quarshie were fine today . Our issue is as we all knew at start of season we shouldn’t gamble on Stewart and a 6m German 2 player. We needed a Bishop, McBurnie, Keiffer Moore, type and now paying the price not signing one. Stephens wouldn’t control midfield or The lack of outlet to get us up the Pitch

I said that to my son at the game today we needed a leader to take control and run the game - we don’t have one so let them come at us. we started well but as soon as Stewart went you could see it just sank. Stills game needs an outlet focal point as soon as Ross went we didn’t have one. Aribo can play centre half can he play up front? Can’t be any worse.
