Paul Jewell Makes Robbie Savage available For Loan
Andy_Porter replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
There's a good reason why Paul Jewell wants rid. I'd rather have Gillett, Schneiderlin and Wotton. -
But we're not winning every week ffs, what are the plastics going to do while people enjoy themselves following Saints?
-
Nope Derby.

Where's Big Nigel
-
Enjoyable to watch.
-
Did you not enjoy the game yesterday then TDD? I had a very enjoyable day, probably the second best day of the season so far.
-
That's all a fair point but it's got nothing to do with wether people are enjoying watching Saints and the way we're playing with Lallana, Morgan and co running the games.
-
I find it enjoyable. Then again I found most of last season enjoyable. The results will come, no need to worry after 5 games imo. As for being bottom of the league, I couldn't really give a toss where we are after 5 games. Sure everyone would rather be towards the top but it's only September. EDIT: Spurs are bottom and Hull are in a Champions league spot.

I don't really follow French football but they where awful. They defended like strangers and couldn't get the ball or keep possesion when they finally got it from Chelsea. Lampard, Deco and Joe Cole where getting so much time on the ball it was unbelievable, Bordeaux where just standing off them all game.
-
Far too easy for Chelsea. Belletti almost scored from 40odd yards and Anelka pokes in the rebound to make it 4-0.
-
Roma 1 - 2 Cluj (who?!)
-
I think it must be. Kits without sponsors look so much better.
-
I'm watching the Chelsea game. Bourdeaux aer really quite bad, from the Tottenham school of defending. Cole and Cole playing well together, again...
-
Of all the things to moan about with Rooney you can never say he doesn't try. He tries too hard most of the time, running around all over the shop when he should just be holding his position.
-
Anyone know how much the train + tube will cost for 2 adults on Sunday? or can point me in the direction of a website.

Spot on really, Capello got his tactics perfect for the game. Joe Cole playing through the middle to give Ashley Cole space to run into, Walcott holding a really high line to support Heskey and Rooney dropping deep to support the midfield. I though Lampard was great at what he done, just sat infront of the back four and bursting forward and Rooney probably put in his best performance since 2004 and that was nearly all after the red card. I just hope we can keep a similar balance in future games and the match going England fans don't turn on Lampard, Rooney, the others when we're not winning by a massive margin at half time. Doing it over a period of time is what's important. . .

A 2-1 win away at Iceland is always going to be a good result, they where 2-0 up and cruising until some burk decided to hand ball it in the area. Not that I want to defend Burley or anything.
-
????? They where free to air on Setanta for anyone on freeview or sky. I also saw the Scotland - Iceland goals on there for free.
-
Well that's obvious. + 3-5-2 vs + probably the most balanced England side i've seen.
-
That team would probably come away with a 0-0.
-
Wait... What? have you never seen Chelsea play?
-
oh gosh, that would be a car crash waiting to happen.
-
Oh lolz!
-
He's dead on his feet, Federers extra days rest seems to have made a big deal.

Because he's the best option? Jenas and Bullard are the only other real options at the moment and bringing either of those in is a ridiculous idea. Lampard is a bit of a broken man at this level but he's a class above the likes of Jenas and Bullard.
