  1. Indeed. 5-1.
  2. He's played plenty of games, the problem with Rangers is they have a champions league squad and no european games, lots of players are being rotated.

    Did they already headline once?
  4. 99% of clubs are a stepping stone.
  5. Gerrard always gives the ball away, he will always try to do something a bit special. Every now and then it comes off and creates a chance. It's exactly the same in a red shirt. You can play a midfield three of Carrick, Hargreaves and Barry, none of them will give the ball away but we'll spend all game passing it sideways. Heaven forbid we change formation to try and accomadate two of the best midfielders in the world into our team! What an ego trip he's on, I can't believe he's actually trying to make them play together!
  6. What a load of ********. They where fine again together yesterday and so long as there is someone to do the defensive work they will work together fine. It's pretty much the same as Chelsea's midfield with Ballack and Lampard together, you just need someone there to play the holding role. As for Capello bein gutless, well you're just plain wrong. Incase you didn't notice in the last three games he's started the likes of Defoe, Heskey, Downing, Upson and Johnson - none of those are star names at all, just players who have been playing well. He dropped "Hollywood" Beckham for Theo, Owen can't even get in the squad. I'd like to know what you think is gutless really, probably just some anti-Chelsea/Lampard thing.
  7. Too Welsh.
  8. When Killers knee went pop.
  9. Practice putting. If you're anything like me then putting accounts to around a 1/3rd of all shots, if you practice putting enough so you can two put anything on the green then you will see your scores get better very quickly. When I first started I just practiced in the range for ages and well It didn't help my scores much, now that i've started doing a few hours putting practice every week I find a huge difference. Mainly it's just a case of practice makes perfect, there aren't any tips really. Just get out side and hit some balls.
  10. Indeed, no one predicted that the FIA where such a bunch of corrupt tossers. They're doing their best to make it a contest, I really don't understand how Massa is still in contention he's such an awful driver. Alonso is easily the best driver out there imo and Massa is one of the worst. What did you think about the 25 second penalty?
  11. What a shocking decision regarding Bourdais, FIA showing themselves to be utter ****s again.
  12. Stephen Warnock for England then . . .

Daft Punk on the pyramid stage would just be amazing.
  14. Since we're only allowed one player it makes it quite a lot harder, I'd probably go for either Chris Baird or Jack Cork. If I could split the money I'd go for Ryan Taylor (Wigan), Ryan Shawcross (Stoke) and use any left over money to secure Corks services on loan for the rest of the season.
  15. Probably BS since he's played plenty of games as a RB or a midfielder.
  16. Nobody is doubt his work ethic or the ability he had a few years ago. He simply isn't good enough anymore, Beckham from 4-5 years ago was a class act unfrotunatley he has lost his legs and he's nothing more than a token pick. Spot on, Michael Owen will always score goals when he gets the chance for England. Defoe just isn't intelligent enough for the national team, good player for Pompey but he'll never cut it for England IMO. I would think Capello wants Owen to prove his fitness over a period of time before calling him up, the last two managers have been too reliant on Owen and paid the price when he's got injured. If we where drawing a game with 15 minutes to go and I had the choice to bring on Owen or Defoe it would be an easy choice. As for Crouch he's probably the next best allternative to Heskey, not that we have many other big strong targetmen to choose from. Agbonalhor?! he hasn't got any international experience, maybe he deserves a chance in a friendly but he's nothing special imo. He's only scored one more than Owen this season.
  17. Agreed, once Morgan is fit again we should move Cork back to RB.
  18. True, when we had Holmes playing left wing we didn't have many problems defending down the left because Holmes was a natural winger and knew when to help out his full back and when to bomb forward. Since his injury we have lacked a proper winger and played people like Robertson, BWP and McGoldrick there who don't know how to help defend from the wing. Simply put we need to start playing people in positions they are comfortable with. I don't think the formation is the problem, just trying to use strikers on the wings.
  19. Insua from Liverpool isn't getting a look in, maybe a two month loan deal until the start of the January window would be a good idea. Chris Baird on loan, another short term loan that could put him in the shop window so Fulham can sell him in the January window. Ryan Shawcross is available from Stoke, he's a beast of a centre back although I think they're looking for someone to buy him. Stalteri from Spurs can't get a game, another short term loan move could be beneficial to both clubs and the player. Pele from WBA . . . midfield? Ryan Taylor is a decent right back who can't get a game at Wigan. Obviously some of those might not be available or might not be willing to drop down a league on loan. There are plenty of options we should be persuing though.
  20. Just because they're available for free doesn't mean they are affordable. I bet plenty of Championship clubs have tried to sign Carr and he simply doesn't wan't to step down. Ian Harte is just **** imo, wasn't even that good as a youngster and he's gone down hill ever since.
  21. We have too many defenders that are lacking physically. You can get away with one weak defender who is maybe quick and used as an attacking outlet but to have 3 sometimes 4 very weak defenders is no go imo. A back four of Mills - Cork - Perry - James has very little pace, no height and no strength. They are all technically gifted players but with out a bit of muscle won't be able to get anywhere. I would personally like to see a back four of: Mills (only option at LB imo) - Svensson/Thomas - Lancashire - Cork Now it's a bit harsh on Perry who has easily been our best defender this season but I feel we need two big strong centre backs in the middle and I think Lancashire and one of Svensson/Thomas is the best way to achieve it. Then with Wotton and Schneiderlin just infront we would have a decent balance of muscle, height and pace which are the three key ingredients in this league.
  22. What about the three assists and goal from our last two games? Never mind the fact there are hardly any other options if we did drop him. Joe Cole is injured and I'm struggling to think of any other English players who can play in the hole. Lallana ? Lack of options, I guess. Woodgate would be a good shout but he's been a bit below par this season. Indeed. Bottom of the league and only one win from their last 15 for LA Galaxy. I haven't seen any of their games but it seems like Beckham is a token pick.
  23. GROUP C: Sevilla, VfB Stuttgart, Sampdoria, Partizan Belgrade, Standard Liege That group is harsh.
  24. Wait, why? He's been solid this season for Wigan, he'd come here and be our best defender easily.
