Deco went for only 8 million because his off field antics where having a negative effect on the rest of the squad, the same reason why both Ronaldinho and Dos Santos both went relativley cheaply. If I was in Keegans position I would have left as well.

Guttierez and Collocini where hardly unknowns, both playing weekly for top clubs so it's not like it took a genius to find them. Wise's job was supposedly to help attract and develop their youngsters, it was Jiminez and Viter who identify and get the targets for Newcastle. It's hardly suprising that Keegan was ****ed that Millner was sold without his blessing and then the club bring in a striker (Xisco) to replace him, meaning if one of Gutierez or N'Zogbia get injured they will be relying on Alan Smith to play right wing...

I feel for the lad, he was ruined by Burleys terrible management and under the leadership of a better manager he could have flourished for us. I thought he was better than White, Dyer and Holmes on Saturday but that was probably more to do with none of our wide men getting much of the ball. Didn't deserve the booing he got when he went off injured that's for sure.

Didn't expect that from Google...

Forcing our best attacking midfielder of the last 5 games to play right wing? I'm not against it, that could work. I'd like to see Dyer given a few games while Skacel gets somewhere near match fitness though.

I hope this is a wind up. If you honestly think we should sack JP after 3 wins from 6 games then you should probably go watch another sport or something. -

What would you say success would be this season? I mean you can't expect a team which finished a point away from relegation to suddenly get promoted because a few youngsters got promoted from the youth team. Anything in the top 10 would be a very successful season imo, anything below 18~ would be a bit of a shame but certainly not a disaster as long as progress is made by the youngsters. -

Spot on, it's a huge shame that the home support is so fickle. It's hardly suprising that we done so bad last season at home and we haven't started off well at home again. Edit: just read the whole thread and I can't believe there are people who genuinley think JP will be sacked if we don't pick up enough points from the next three games. Even after last season I see some fans still expect everything from Southampton fc... -
Or Michael "40 goals for England" Owen, it's absurd.
-
He's playing for Ac Milan... I know who i'd rather be playing for, no matter how much money City supposedly have. Apparently Robinho was on less money than Drenthe at Real Madrid.
-
That's a shame with only Thomas, Svensson, Perry and Cork I think we could have done with another centre back. Never even heard of him before mind...
-
Wouldn't really want to be part of that group.
-
It already is, you need ridiculous money to even compete. I give it 5 years before relegation is scrapped.

Hart Zabaleta Richards Dunne Ball Elano Kompany Johnson SWP Jo Robinho SUBS Onuoha Schmeichel Ben Haim Hamann Petrov Bojinov Sturridge Arsenal and Liverpool should be very worried.
-
Robinho plays best upfront imo.

This deadline day has been mad, wtf is going on with City, Surely Robinho won't sign for them.
