I think you're probably looking at £125 - £150 per day. My mate has recently had his whole house plastered took 6 days and he paid a grand. I know a decent plasterer if you want a number then PM me.

I'd let Mills retain his place. He played well and Harding could do with a rest. Davis Thomas - Jaidi - Perry - Mills James - Wotton Waigo - Lallana - Antonio Lambert Maybe consider Paterson instead of Lambert.

Strange that Connolly is still out, I wonder what the thinking was behind putting him on the bench against Millwall.

Is seaborne not cuptied? Mills, Waigo and Gobern probably all deserve a run out and wouldn't really disrupt the team too much. I'd be inclined to give Paterson a start, let Lambert have a break.

I don't think he will ever be a premiership player, I don't think he is or ever will be as good as those players. Was just comparing how similar flair players aren't on top of their game week in week out. You just have to put up with the frustating moment from Lallana and hope the next time he gets the ball he works his magic.

Schneiderlin is another player I rate, in total agreement. Doing the dirty stuff well and getting the results. Just hope pardew starts playing him further forward when we play 4-4-2, if he could get 4-5 goals a season he'd be the complete midfielder we've lacked since Oakley picked up his injury.

He's been doing the fancy stuff all season, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, he's not going to stop doing it, it's just the way he plays. Those players I mentioned have plenty of bad games, I don't really see why it's unfair to compare him with other players who play a similar position and role for their clubs. The only midfielder in our league who's comparable is Wes Hoolahan, no one else at his level imo.

We played 4-5-1 last night in obvious attempt to control the first leg and just make sure we don't conceed. Everything went to plan, got the away goal and kept a clean sheet, Pardew has been fairly negative lately so I wouldn't be suprised if he told Lallana to play more centrally and help the central midfielders after we'd gone a goal up.

Hopefully he will find a bit of consitency to his game, It's usually the problem with flair players that they drift in and out of matches and form. Even the very best players in his mould do that, Joe Cole, Luca Modric, Andrei Arshavin etc all capable of a bit of magic one game and then totally missing the next. He's a frustrating player at times but I'd much rather be watching a team with Lallana in than a team without. We're negative enough as it is without taking out one of our flair players.

From our game agains them they didn't seem very creative. Their best player on the day was the right winger who gave Harding a torrid time all game, other than him their midfield looked very poor. Would be a good signing for us at this level if the 200k fee is correct. Paterson, Connolly, Lambert and Bernard is a pretty handy set of strikers.

---- James - Wotton Waigo - Lallana - Antonio ------- Lambert I think Antonio would be a better option from the left, his crossing isn't up to much and he looks better when he cuts in side and just runs. The three advanced midfielders can basically spend the whole game switching around and we can easily swap to 4-4-2 when needed.

He's not going to play well every game, even the very best players have poor games. He wasn't at his best yesterday but to single him out isn't fair on the lad. 12 goals all from open play, if we where linked with a midfielder who had scored 12 goals by Christmas everyone would be going mental. Instead we single out a poor performance from a player who has been one of our star performers over the season. Much in the same way Antonio, James, Schniederlin etc get singled out after one or two poor performances. His form over the last three months is enough to warrant him a starting place all season. The only problem I have with Lallana is the way he's used, Pardew doesn't seem to know how to get the best out of him.

I don't think he's lightweight at all, he's not as strong as Lambert yet and doesn't score as many goals. All he needs is games and before to long he will be at Lamberts level. I've seen him play loads for the reserves and he's allways difficult to play against and gets on the end of things in the box. All he needs is games, i'm suprised Pardew hasn't given him more 15-20 minute cameo appearances while we've been 2 goals up to give Lambert a bit of a rest.

Same amount of goals from open play as Lallana then.

Is he the same kid that lumped a policewoman at Blackpool? Him and his Dad should just get banned if he runs on the pitch again, it's just embarassing.

If it's 200k and Paterson on loan for the rest of the season it's a cracking deal. if it's 200k and Paterson i'm not so sure, I'd rather just keep hold of Paterson and go for another target. Still he's a decent player at this level and should help us over the next 18 months if we sign him.

Can't believe people are knocking Lallana, it really is ridiculous. I don't know what people expect from him, I swear some people can't look past last seasons performance and that's why Schneiderlin, Lallana and James still get stick despite being three of our better players. Anyone who thinks we should drop Lallana is mental, he'll go and score next week and the moaners will move onto their next target...

Glad he's getting involved like that, last season he wouldn't have reacted like that. He's really improved this season, I didn't get what he was about and thought we wasted 1.2m on him. Certainly proved me wrong. Agreed that he looks better in a more advanced position, his best game for us was in that position against Southend. I don't understand why Pardew doesn't push him up like that in our 4-4-2, our two midfielders are always far too deep there isn't any need to be that negative. Let Hammond and Schneiderlin pivot and actually attack and get into the box rather than just shield the back four.

I will be gutted if we sell Paterson. He did have a couple of bad games at the start of the season, bit harsh for Pardew to rate him on those performance. Swindon especially as he was playing on the wing and the whole team was shocking, Pardew just set up wrong.

I'm a bit worried about tonight as well. I hope the amount of players injured and cup tied doesn't force Pardew into playing too negative a side. Glad it's over two legs, hopefully we will have the majority of our players back and a couple of new signings.
