We wont get thrashed by Ipswich, the midfield we put out will play just be really negative just like Millwall, two banks of four no real penetration on our part and lots of hoofballs up to Lambery and Barnard. Probably the best idea considering all our injuries, try and nick a goal on the counter or from a setpiece. As long as we go in at half time 0-0 i'm reasonably confident that Antonio or Waigo coming on for the last 20-25 minutes can cause them problems.

And Rickie Lambert had number nine on, I think they probably just use 1-11 in training.

We don't really have any midfielders that bust a gut to get into the box, no matter what system we play that's going to be a problem.

From what I've read about him he's like Lambert-lite just with added work rate.

I think Lambert looks at his most dangerous when we play 4-5-1, the team looks better when we play 4-5-1 and Lallana looks at his best playing as an advanced midfielder as part of a 5 man midfield. I like Connolly and he's a great finisher but we always look far more dangerous playing 4-5-1, wether that's with Lallana out wide or through the middle. Lallana has scored 12 and set up 5, that's a lot more effective than Waigo, I'd play them both every week If I was manager.

Wouldn't mind getting Savage in alongside Schneiderlin.

Lazy player who scored a few goals. Never did understand why he was idolised and Rasiak was hated when they both done exactly the same on a football pitch.

Not a chance. Over the last month or so I've been Pardews biggest critic, his negative tactics haven't helped us as a side at all. I go against the grain on here In that I don't rate Thomas, Hammond, Holmes, Davis. Not that I need to explain myself to you, this is just your response to everyone when you know you're wrong. It's nothing to do with age, Wotton doesn't contribute half as much as Lallana and Schneiderlin. He's a very limited footballer who just about does his job when needed, Lallana is a match winner and Schneiderlin is the best passer of the ball in our squad. I don't think Wotton's a particuarly bad player and never really join in with the Wotton abuse as either he or James are essential to our 4-5-1 which we should be playing every week. Sadly I think next season you will get your wish about Schneiderlin and Lallana, after we fail to gain promotion one of maybe both of them will leave. Can't see them sticking around for another 12 months.

If we had Fonte, Connolly, Schneiderlin and Hammond available I'd think we'd have a great chance. Without them I think we're going to lose by a goal or two.

Danns and Barnard would be fantastic.

Is that a compliment?

I mentioned Owen Garvan a while ago when he was out of favour at Ipswich, would be a fantastic signing. My Ipswich supporting friend seems to think he's back in Keane's plans again and won't be moving. From the three you mention Garvan and Danns would be far better options for us, not really so keen on Stock.

I think people can just notice the potential when a player is that quick. That sort of pace and power will always be dangerous no matter what league you're playing in.

Indeed, I think we look alot stronger playing 4-5-1. Our best performances this season imo where Southend and Oldham away where we started 4-5-1 and then killed the opposition off with 4-4-2.

If he's going to reach his full potential I think we need to find his best position, build the team around him and keep him in that position. For me he should be played behind Lambert in a free role as part of a 4-5-1 with license to roam. We can't keep shifting him around to cover different injuries, I think playing Surman all over the shop harmed his development a bit, jack of all trades master of none. Don't want Lallana to go the same way.

Antonio's goal celebration... not sure how I missed that. He's a cult hero in the making. More MK Dons performances and less Colchester performances would be brilliant. He's always either the worst player on the pitch or MOTM, so very inconsistent.

And he was giving it large after that Sunderland game. He hates us, probably because after we beat United 6-3 he took all the blame.

Lambert and Holmes on the bench who can both change the game. I'd start them both every single game.

The thing I like about Antonio is that he clearly cares about his football alot more than the majority of his players. When he gets a chance and doesn't score you can tell he's upset with himself, some of our players in the past have given the impression they couldnt give a **** - Dyer, McGoldrick, Best etc I'd like to see us play both Antonio and Waigo together, either both on the wings or one upfront. Waigo just needs a run of games imo.

Well who should we be playing instead then? Well done for igorning the question I asked as well. Why drop Schneiderlin when he does every Hammond does and more? Or is it just a case of us needing a whole new midfield? You're clueless.

It's clear as day that Pardew has asked Adam over recent weeks to play more centrally when he plays on the left to help out the central midfielders. He's far more effective when he stay out wide. Why Pardew's asked him to play like that's beyond me, we've got the players to go out and attack every team in this league but we're playing quite negative stuff at the moment.

Yeah lets get rid of Lallana and Schneiderlin and bring in Holmes and Wotton, we'd win loads. I can sort of understand the twisted logic in dropping Lallana even though he's scored 12 goals all from open play but Scheniderlin? Why drop him? he's head and shoulders above Hammond in nearly every department he isn't what i'd consider a luxury player at all. Maybe last season he could be seen as such but he's added a lot to his game over the last 12 months.

Ipswich sold their initial 2000 and then sold the extra 400. Should be a decent atmosphere if they're in voice.
