  2. Got a spare train ticket for Exeter if anyone interested. From Southampton Central to Exeter St Davids via Westbury. It's an Off-peak return so you can just leave and return any time on the day and I bought it for £16 so anything around that much would be great. I got it ages ago as part of a groupsaver4 and now there are only three of us who will be able to get Exeter tickets so i've got the spare.
  3. I am proper skint but I'm going to go pick up my ticket tomorrow, better be worth the trip. looks like £14 on the train, not too bad.
  4. Any idea how cheap you can get them from Southampton? Should probably just stop being lazy and look myself...
  5. Davis Thomas - Fonte - Perry - Mills Waigo - James - Morgan - Holmes Lambert - Connolly
  6. Cheers mate will send off mine tonight.
  7. That midfield is far too negative just like the team we put out at millwall, no pace, movement or penetration so we'd revert to hoofball and the game would probably end up 0-0 or Mk dons would grab a winner. Waigo has to play.
  8. Whenever I buy tickets I always write the ST numbers and names on a bit of paper before I go to the ticket office and just hand it over. Thought that would be pretty obvious to most people. Does anyone know if you can apply for more than one ticket per letter? Say I've got three ST numbers and want three tickets.
  9. Was going to give you a ring and explain, I asked all the season ticket holders I know and they're all either going to Exeter or haven't been to the three required away games. Might just use my train ticket to visit you if I don't get a ticket from the ballot!
  10. Fair point, I thought he was still 19. 20 is still very young for a midfielder with a fair bit of responsibility. I think we will just have to disagree, I think he's class and only going to get better next year. Much rather have Schneiderlin in the middle than Hammond, Wotton or James.
  11. First come first serve is just as bad, the fairest way imo is just to give it to the 800 applicants who have been to the most away games this season. Hopefully considering the effort of writing a letter there won't be too many people who apply, maybe even less than 800.
  12. I would have thought there are more than 800 ST holders with 3 or more away tickets on their records or else they wouldn't have mentioned the ballot.
  13. They haven't said anything either way, it's like they just put the article out in a rush. If that was the case they should have just left it for a day and posted it tomorrow. It's ridiculous it really is, it's good that they are prioritising season tickets holders who have been to away games but they should have just taken the 800 applicants who have been to the most away games. If I can't get a ticket in the away end i'll either sit in the home end or just go for a days drinking in Exeter, it's not the end of the world just a pain that we're being punished because of something that happend between Leeds and Exeter.
  14. I've no problem spending time writing a letter. It's just a poorly thought out idea. For one they haven't told us who to send the letter to, whether it needs to include bank/card details, if we can apply for multiple ST's in one letter and most importantly which address. They shouldn't be making it hard for customers to spend their money. It's pretty stupid to do a ballot at all, if there are more than 800 people who apply who have all been to over three aways then they should just sort out from the applicants which 800 had been to the most games and send them the tickets. It's hardly fair if people who have only been to three away games get tickets ahead of people who have been to all the aways. It's been very poorly thought out by our ticket office, they've got plenty of time to have sorted a proper system and at the very least they should have made the OS article far more clear. If I hadn't bought my train ticket already I'd give this one a miss and just go next season.
  15. Depends if your mate who buys the tickets used your ST number when he got them, makes sense to do it even if the tickets are on general sale. I get tickets for two others and always use our three ST numbers. Basically if you haven't got the away games matched against your ST you won't have any chance of getting a ticket. My train tickets are for Exeter St Davids via Westbury, starting at Soton Central. Came to £68 for four when I booked them in November.
  16. Could just let Lallana be that link man...
  17. ????? While he's an adequate option on the left, he's nothing special and if we start relying on him too much he'll just get injured again.
  18. For MK Dons I'd like to see us play 4-5-1 with Wotton, Schneiderlin and Lallana in the middle. Lallana doesn't add much as a striker, need to get him playing in the middle.
  19. Will be ****ed off if I can't get a ticket. If we're only getting 800 tickets they should do a proper priority system, someone who's been to 15 away games not getting a ticket while someone who's been to 3 games getting a ticket would be ridiculous.
  20. 800? what a joke. What a massive hassel to get tickets, really can't be arsed to write in and request tickets. If I don't get a ticket i'll be ****ed off. I wish I hadn't bought my train ticket now.
  21. That's the sort of player we need yes, Quashie isn't that sort of player he's not going to get 5-10 goals and 10-20 assists a season, not a chance. If we stuck Lallana alongside Schneiderlin he might be able to do that job.
  22. Every game is vital. If we lose two and draw two then we're looking at needing 46 points from 17 games, 2.7 points per game...
  23. we need to achieve around 2.3 points per game if we're to finish in the top six, we can't really afford to drop anymore points.
  24. You don't need to be a 6foot brute to play in midfield. Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Scholes, Modric etc
  25. We do, we just leave them on the bench. There's nothing wrong at all with moaning because we're playing football which is too negative. We spend a small fortune following Southampton around the country and we should expect a side which is going to go out and attack not a team playing for a draw in league one.
