So other teams play a weakened side yet we didn't know our strongest side which could be a reason it was weak? I think it's fair to say you don't like him, we could win 10 games in a row and you would find reasons it happened other than Puel's tactical nous. That's fair enough, some have said he could win the prem and they'd still want him out because they don't like his football. Not a point I agree with but if that's their point of view then that's up to them.

OK, maybe not wimping out but he seems pretty fragile. Other players can go 50 games without an injury but Boufal seems to struggle with 5.

Unfortunately I have only seen flashes of it and I think I've seen him in every home game he's played, he really needs a run of games without wimping out though.

Duncan Holley seems to be a family friend and knows what is going on with Sam, if he hopes to get a new deal and continue with Saints Duncan would know.

Going back a year or two it seems he was pretty decent with loads of Serie A medals and a Champs league medal but I think he was more of a squad player. If we can get him fit enough to play then I would say he is better than the options we have available to us right now. Get him working as hard as possible so he is an interesting possibility for the Final.

I agree, some of the football under Puel has been nice but there are some players this season who don't look like they want to be here. I think Forster will go in the summer and this Keeper we have brought in is to replace him, Arsenal have been monitoring him for a while now and he has let it know to some that he wants to go. I'd like to see Puel backing in the summer transfer window and see how he does with no restraints.

OR Saints win the EFL cup and get into Europe and finish in the top 10? Will that do? I'm assuming some still won't want him.

I think he'll be given a new contract, he's played well and can see JRod moving on as looks off the pace apart from the odd game.

He has to play well to be in the shop window, that'll do me for the rest of the season.
