The majority of Bayerns shots where from outside the box, they had a couple of clear chances but couldn't convert. Reading the article on the BBC it looks to me as he is setting his sights on lower league teams as he knows the top teams won't touch him. Would he be worth a pay as you play type deal?...I think thats all he'll get to be honest. I think we could get him if we wanted to, can't see him demanding that massive a salary anymore. Someone like Villa or Wigan will get him. I wouldn't want him here personally. Lee, Lambert, Sharp, Guly and a proven top league striker would do me (not Owen).

Only reason to go to the Glory is to stand in the Shed and get ****ed, its old school terracing and full of us Brits so a good atmosphere. Takes your mind off the **** football being played. Its soooo bad.

My good mate is a policeman and he is just one of the lads, only thing he can't really do is get proper smashed when out but he seems happy with that.

Lampard for me has had another solid season - not sure why he gets so much stick, stick him in an advanced centre midfield position and not too deep and let him cause trouble, where Gerrard hasn't done anything really except be injury a fair bit. Gerrard on his day is more dynamic than Lampard but I feel the Gerrard of old won't be seen anymore, too many injuries.

Saints many times in the past have had older players come in and do very well. If I remember right, although a few years ago, the only player I feel we purchased in that relegation season that cost us a bit was Redknapp.
