UAE midfielders with the same name of Rakman (sp?) seem pretty good on the ball, running the show against the Uruguayans. I would hope we are scouting these games pretty closely. Shame Uruguay just smashed a 25 yard free kick equaliser.

Looking at teams we will be jostling with I think our signings are pretty much top notch compared with them. Only player that has moved which I wouldn't have minded at Saints would of been Park but then again QPR paid over the odds for him. Tiote can't pass a ball 5 yards, but aside from that the French or French leagues seem to produce an abundance of these types of players. MS is already growing into the role imo but we do need another midfielder to compliment him. Don't think out current central midfielders are good enough for the prem. Would love to be proven wrong of course.

they need defenders badly....even losing Green and replacing him with Jaaskalinen (sp?) who is past his best and was reserve keeper for a team that went down last season.

Forster is a decent keeper still young and had 3 full seasons of first team football, would be a decent addition for 2m squid.

and an afterthought...I love how they still use tarpaulin in 60 years time...
