  1. DENNEBOOM......would be nice alongside Saga...
  2. that 'system' has given us a fair few points on the road.
  3. thing is this is the sort of team we will win against, and then lose to another relegation hopeful next week!
  4. Not sure we would be but IF he did clear the overdraft etc etc like he said then it would of given us a bit of cash to buy better players, and also not to waste half the season playing the kids.
  5. its all depending IF we can start winning home games, we are pretty decent on the road. Yes all the other teams have hit form but they wont win every game from here till the end of the season. Also notice Derby are in the middle of it now. Its certainly not over and as I said, if we pick up more home wins then Its all possible. Just hope Wotte can do it. Encouraged by the away draw at Norwich as it showed the team has a bit of fight in them.
  6. Shows the team have some fight in them, lets hope they can get that 2nd home win on Saturday. An away point is always useful. If we can get some home wins under the belt we will move up the league soon enough. Lets hope Wotte has pinpointed the weak areas from this game and will work on them this week.
  7. looks a handy player
  8. "one more thing before I leave, your such a ****, who has lost the plot you smug headed ******"
  9. least it means if he is playing well for AC then he should replace Shaun Wright-run fast and fall over-Phillips.
  10. all round game is terrible though and I doubt he will make a succesful career in Europe. Denneboom if signed would be decent enough I think, will reserve judgement until he a) signs and b) plays at least 8 or 9 games!!
  11. good thing about being a saints fan on the other side of the world? by the time the result comes in im either a) in bed or b) off my face for this season its a bit of a blessing!
  12. Kim van der Kuntz all of them... That is all

  16. If you have a shortcut on your desktop you can do the following: * Right-click on the FM shortcut. * Choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu. * In the "Target" field, add the --reset_preferences command line option after "fm.exe", so it should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\fm.exe" --reset_preferences * Press OK and then try to run the game as normal, using the shortcut. You'll want to remove the command after you run the game, as otherwise it will continue to reset your preferences every time you launch. If you don't have a shortcut you can make one and then perform the instructions on the shortcut you've made. * If you purchased and installed the game through Steam you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory: C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2009/ * If you purchased and installed the game from a boxed DVD copy you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory: C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009/ Other XML Errors First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' the 'Folder Options'. The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders' Delete the following folder: XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings This may solve some issues regarding the XML Errors

  20. Duffy being told he can find another club from Pompey, would be worth a punt and free.
  21. Remember John Barnes scoring from long long range after a dodgy kick out by Beasant. Was a good finish, hit first time as well.
