I'd take either goalie now over either goalie then. Both have improved a lot since the playoff season. I'd also have Murty ahead of Wright or Ostlund. Other than that, out strongest XI three years ago is stronger is every other position.

No he isn't. Just my opinion, but Ostlund was far better at winning the ball and in terms of pace and aerial ability. Ostlund got a lot of criticism for his positional sense, but I think it's a dead heat with James in that dept. In the playoff season we only lost 5 games in which Ostlund played. 4 of them were away, including a trip to Man City. 2 of them were against Brum and Sunderland, the League top 2 and in one of them he came on at half time when we were already losing and didn't concede again from then on. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=38159
