+1 on the chili fries, they're so good. My mate works in the pub next door, always rammed in there.

Corky was absolutely outstanding in that first half, he was everywhere. Gutted to concede 2 goals so soon after half time and let them in, but showed great spirit to grab one back right away. I think we're one top quality striker away from having a f*cking good team here. It could have been Osvaldo, but maybe somebody more level-headed could do the job.. Also a word for Sam Gallagher tonight who I thought played very well. His positioning and movement was very good - always looking to get in behind the defence. On another day he might have buried that chance when we were 1-0 up but it was a difficult one to put away. It was nice to see a couple of players talking to him after that chance to keep his spirits up too - shows a nice unity that we have here.

He's a Saints fan, the likelihood of him going to play at P*mpey is quite slim. Good luck to him though, he put in some good performances for us in his time here.

I booked the day off work for Spurs, and now I can't make it. F*cking c*nts at c*nting f*cking Sky.

Just got back into them recently. Their first album was awesome - still is!

Like Buctootim said, it's a new set of guidelines that were implemented that were taken too literally by branch staff. I work for a rival bank to HSBC, and if their branch staff are as thick as ours then I can see why this whole thing happened. It's a bit of a storm in a teacup though - branch have discretion and can choose to refuse anybody if they want to.

Manager with a better record than Redknapp? Walter Smith. A few months younger, but in his (10 years shorter) managerial career he won 11 league titles and 13 cups. He won the Scottish title with Rangers 9 seasons in a row, signed the likes of Gascoigne and Amoruso, almost took them to the Champions League final in 1993 and got them to the UEFA Cup Final in 2008. Also successful at Scotland, reshaping the shambles of a squad that Berti Vogts had cobbled together. People may say that he had a poor spell at Everton as well but with no money to spend, his best players being sold from underneath him (and also behind his back in Duncan Ferguson's case) and a pretty poor squad inherited from walking shambles Howard Kendall, he did surprisingly well - avoiding relegation despite the odds. He's also incredibly highly thought of by Sir Alex Ferguson, who hired Smith as his assistant for the World Cup in 86 (?) and also at Man Utd in the early 2000s, where he helped them win the FA Cup.

I overheard some home fans comparing him to Nigel Winterburn.

I watched Win Nowt when I was staying with friends in Eindhoven, he's got a quality left foot on him although he looks a bit susceptible to pacy wingers attacking him.

She's well out of my league mate. In terms of the game, nice to get a win - even better for Guly and Gallagher to score. Hopefully that'll give both of them some confidence, as they'll be needed in the first team for the next couple of weeks until Osvaldo is back (if he comes back). -

Is this her? -
[video=youtube;-QRlyvmRHys] He was absolutely sublime against P*mpey U18's when I saw him, he's pretty quick for a big lad too. Not entirely dissimilar to Ishamel Miller when he was starting out at Man City in terms of his overall game. Looks a good prospect for the future, hopefully he can get some game time with the first team over the rest of the season and be a part of the squad ready for the next!

As long as they can keep up with all the other players, I don't see why players shouldn't be able to smoke. If it's not affecting their fitness (short-term at least) then go ahead.

Signed - for people like me who book time off at the weekends months in advance to go to away games it's a real pain when games get moved. Should post this on other team's forums too!
