I have started my annual Regional Leagues game with my hometown team. Breezed through first season and won the title by about 15pts after a rough start, beat Brentford 4-1 in a pre-season friendly and sitting top of the Isthmian D1 Southern table going into November. Premier League, here we come! Got to League 1 last year and lost interest, wonder whether I can better that this year...

Don't claim to know too much about him, but he seems to have a very good reputation in English football and he's a Saints fan so clearly has impeccable taste! All I want is for the club to be run well, don't care about some big moneybags coming in to spend billions like at City or Chelski. I just want us to be Southampton. If Mr Williams has those interests at heart, with his reputation in football I don't see how we can go wrong.

Just saw this, without wanting to sound like a gayer I found the first hour or so really touching and moving. As soon as they were in a "relationship" though I think it went more sci-fi, which was still good, although I think it lacked the emotion and humanity of the first act. Looking at this objectively, we are a good investment opportunity. Growing club, well-run for the past 4 years, good facilities (which will include world-class training facilities by the summer) and scope for development in the city itself - especially in the immediate area to the stadium. Dalian Wanda have ties to the area already with Sunseeker, and Nicola is good friends with Dalian's CEO. They're spending lots of money at the moment, and they have more to spend. With Cortese at the helm, this could be an absolute dream for us.
