If we get rid of Osvaldo in this window, another striker is an absolute must. Wouldn't mind going for Yacob either for that price - Davis and JWP don't convince me in a deeper role and we've missed Wanyama's defensive solidity since he's been out. One of WBA's best performers last season.

Aside from the "incident" - who hasn't been involved in a fight when p!ssed up? - he has been a model pro for us. Not played in almost 2 years but not whinged about it. Scored some vital goals in L1 too. Good luck Lee!

Thanks for that Fowllyd, i'll check those places out too. As for the Willow Tree, put it down to laziness

Looks like a nice place, but a bit out of the way for me. Thanks for the suggestion though. Looked into BWR, seems like a nice place. Cheers fella.

She's only just moved there - uni student innit! As for my outfit, I was thinking about modelling myself on one of these chaps to show off my British spirit: I'm leaning towards the guy on the far left (lolz) because of his nice leather gloves, definitely won't make her think i'm a violent psychopath. Done deal.

He'll probably go on loan to Argentina until we can sort out a perm move for him - he's mad about Boca Juniors going by his Twitter page.

Surely we've got to go in for another striker in this window now? Don't think Osvaldo will be welcome back if rumours are to be believed as to the nature of his suspension.

I have a date with a nice girl who lives in Winchester coming up, but I don't know what's good to do there. Going to play it safe with a couple of drinks or a coffee. Any suggestions for pubs/cafes/restaurants? Preferably in the city centre as neither of us drive. Somewhere with a bit of British character would be nice, as she isn't from the UK. Doesn't have to be a life-affirming experience, first date with my previous missus was at Costa by Bargate and we got on fine! Cheers me dears.

But, what exactly is that information based on? A source? Supposition? Nothing?

Based on what exactly?

I have started my annual Regional Leagues game with my hometown team. Breezed through first season and won the title by about 15pts after a rough start, beat Brentford 4-1 in a pre-season friendly and sitting top of the Isthmian D1 Southern table going into November. Premier League, here we come! Got to League 1 last year and lost interest, wonder whether I can better that this year...

Given our record with adding famous figures from other sports to our coaching team, I think we may stay clear of that one.

Ex girlfriends...meh.

Well, they did just let Bertrand leave on loan to Villa until the end of the season. Azpilicueta can play there, but they'll be looking for a long-term successor for Cole. Guess we'll have to wait and see on this one.

I guess you've never seen The Village then. Euch. They could easily have made it into a sneery "freakshow" film where Theo is painted as being this creepy loner, but Jonze did completely the opposite. He made a relationship between a damaged human and an artificially intelligent operating system seem like Romeo + Juliet. F*ck it, i'm watching it again.

Nah, TalkSport is awful. Got a DAB radio on the cheap, and listened to it for a couple of days in the evenings but couldn't handle it. BBC 6 Music is about the only radio station I can bare to listen to now!

Don't claim to know too much about him, but he seems to have a very good reputation in English football and he's a Saints fan so clearly has impeccable taste! All I want is for the club to be run well, don't care about some big moneybags coming in to spend billions like at City or Chelski. I just want us to be Southampton. If Mr Williams has those interests at heart, with his reputation in football I don't see how we can go wrong.

Just saw this, without wanting to sound like a gayer I found the first hour or so really touching and moving. As soon as they were in a "relationship" though I think it went more sci-fi, which was still good, although I think it lacked the emotion and humanity of the first act. Really good film though, didn't think Joaquin Phoenix had that kind of performance in his locker either.

Christ, do they honestly think that Vito Mannone is a better keeper than Artur? People call us deluded.
-
Could have saved both goals yesterday, but he's just come back from a month and a half layoff. Lets give him a bit of time to be back to his old self, eh? Is everyone forgetting the 2 points he saved for us last week against WBA?

Looking at this objectively, we are a good investment opportunity. Growing club, well-run for the past 4 years, good facilities (which will include world-class training facilities by the summer) and scope for development in the city itself - especially in the immediate area to the stadium. Dalian Wanda have ties to the area already with Sunseeker, and Nicola is good friends with Dalian's CEO. They're spending lots of money at the moment, and they have more to spend. With Cortese at the helm, this could be an absolute dream for us.
