And so, it comes to pass that my 8000th post on SaintsWeb is made. This can't be just any post though, it has to encapsulate the character of myself and this forum. It is because of this that I have decided to dedicate my 8000th post to a fine lady that I might be mildly obsessed with. Rosanna Pansino. Queen of the geeks and baker supreme, she appeals both to my geeky side and my chubby side (which, frankly, isn't limited to just one side). Her YouTube channel has nearly 1,000,000 subscribers and her videos have nearly 50,000,000 views combined. Standing a mere 4'10", some people might say that she has a disability, but as a tall man myself I can see the benefits. Happy googling, and I hope you enjoyed my 8000th post. I'm updating my phone to the new Android firmware, so you'll have to excuse the brevity of my homage.

Not too sure really, maybe weak in defence but strong in attack and midfield. Besides, I reckon we should go for the FA Cup instead - less games involved in a run to the later stages.

Was going to go to Wembley for this one, being a Scotland fan it's not often we get to play the Auld Enemy (as we don't tend to qualify for tournaments anymore). Unfortunately i've been called into work. Will see if I can get a link on my phone though so I can watch a few minutes at a time when I "nip out back".

For those talking about Fox's delivery at set-pieces, I propose that young Mr Chambers take them instead. He's shown quite a few times this pre-season that he's good at putting crosses in, whether he'll be able to replicate that from dead-ball situations is another thing but worth a go!

If we're going to break the bank for a striker, I would love to see us go for Seydou Doumbia from CSKA. Won't go cheap (between 20-25m euros) but a brilliant little player. Perhaps lacking in that physicality we're looking for up top, but he's a proper goalscorer.

My exact thoughts when I saw this too! Went and saw Farnborough play a few times when I was at college there, they have a decent little team. Met Aaron/Daryl McLean's dad there, who gave me the firmest handshake i've ever experienced. Daryl was a trialist for Farnborough in a friendly against us (having been released by us about 2 months previously), but made no impact. That game will forever be remembered in my mind for Jake Thomson scoring from the halfway line, and also for Marek Saganowski - a supposed "international striker" at that point - being given an utter tonking by a Conference South defence.

I don't enjoy slating our own players, but he's not good enough for this level. Any winger with enough movement and pace will tear him a new one, as we saw countless times last season. His positioning is awful, although I do have to say he's improved on his attacking play. He's a good Championship left-back, but Premier League? No.

Think Riise wants to go back to Norway, but giving him a 6 month contract until January would mean he's match fit in time for the start of their season. Would be a good deal for all concerned!
