I'm a big Nick Drake fan, and i'm fairly sure he was reincarnated as Neil Halstead. This is off his most recent album.

Transfer deadline day thread (Summer 2013)
SuperMikey replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Our squad: GK: Artur Boruc, Kelvin Davis, Paolo Gazzaniga RB: Nathaniel Clyne, Calum Chambers LB: Luke Shaw, Danny Fox CB: Dejan Lovren, Maya Yoshida, Jose Fonte, Jos Hooiveld, Jack Stephens CM: Victor Wanyama, Morgan Schneiderlin, Jack Cork, James Ward-Prowse, Steven Davis AM: Adam Lallana, Gaston Ramirez, Guly Do Prado, Lloyd Isgrove ST: Rickie Lambert, Dani Osvaldo, Jay Rodriguez Maybe a little short up top with Punch and Mayuka gone for the season, but our attacking players are very versatile and can all play a number of positions. -
Get Tokyo Saint to send you that bukkake video he sent me the other day. I counted at least 72 knobs in that video, but I only watched 1/4 of it.

I always delete that bit at the end of my TapaTalk posts. Makes the whole operation a bit smoother. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

Is Maggie May rhyming slang for MDMA? Lay off it for a bit mate.

Mental that 14% on MOTD said it wasn't a penalty - he ran out at Lallana with both of his arms up and blocked it in mid-air!

Clyne and Shaw aren't in the team because of injury as far as I can see, I don't think Poch would play Chambers and Fox if the other two were fit enough to start. Agree that we do miss them going down the flanks though, and think Clyne would have done a better job of holding onto Redmond today as well.

Disappointing start to the season, but all is not lost. New players need some time to bed in, Lovren has been excellent so far and Wanyama needs to follow his lead. Vic was an absolute rock against WBA, but he needs to reproduce that form consistently for the type of player that he is. Him sitting behind Morgan and Cork is the way forward I think. Good to hear that Lallana played well, but I don't know why Poch keeps subbing him. He's got more energy than Ramirez and is willing to take people on, which is what we need. His link-up play alongside Rickie and Osvaldo is the key to unlocking defences. As for Gaston, I think we just need to get rid. Hasn't shown any kind of consistency and doesn't fit in with our style of play. He'll come good, but I seriously doubt it'll be with us.

Your posts always cheer me up Danny.

Good player for us, shame his time with us was kind of ended when we got promoted to the Premier League. Not cut out for this level, but will do a good job for Leicester. All the best Deano!

Rickie didn't look sharp against Sunderland when he was playing in that deeper role, got closed down too quickly and didn't have enough time to pick his passes. I reckon Osvaldo to start behind him with Lallana and Prowsey either side. Jay on the bench for impact.

Best Saints pubs to visit before and after a game

Dunno, I tried to compare myself with people on ChatRoulette but I got banned As for me, I drink in the Kingsland now the KA is closed. S'alright, but you don't get the same buzz in there like you used to in the Alfred. -

Same for me Bearsy. We're kindred spirits, you and I. -
Osvaldo's superglued Mayuka's hand to his head because he didn't pass to him in a training match. Surely that's going to have a negative effect on his impact off the bench?

Capital One Cup 3rd Round Draw - Home to Bristol City
SuperMikey replied to lickierambert's topic in The Saints
Happy with City, my Uncle's a ST holder with them so gives me a chance to gloat when we smash them all up and down the pitch! -
If Spurs get Lamela and Eriksen, that would leave them very heavy in the attacking midfield positions (Lennon, Paulinho, Holtby, Townsend, Dembele, Chadli, Sigurdsson). Reckon we might be in with a shot of getting Gylfi Sigurdsson here - I for one think he'd fit in really well. Hard-working, good passer, scores goals...sign him up!

Jesus Perez was interviewed after the game and was asked about Mayuka being shifted out to the right, and whether that was his best position. He basically said he's better when he's on the ball more, although he said "we don't play in positions, we play from positions" which illustrates the fluidity that we're trying to bring to our play. Personally I think Mayuka is a very good out wide, he's showed his chops in a few games there last year and think we should be using him there more often. Very dangerous against West Ham (away) and Spurs (home) cutting in from the right with his pace. Wish I had gone to this game now, had to work instead

Just watched Omit The Logic, a documentary about the life and times of Richard Pryor. Utterly brilliant comedian, utterly insane man. Well worth a watch, but we'll never get close to just what was going on inside that mind of his. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0394h53/Storyville_20132014_Richard_Pryor_Omit_the_Logic/

People in the Kingsland North corner sitting down?
SuperMikey replied to 100% Saint's topic in The Saints
I understand your point, but if you've been to St Mary's before then you must be able to see the areas that stand during games. I suffered through games sitting down in the Kingsland Centre and Chapel for years before I decided to move myself to the Kingsland North/Northam to enjoy a bit of atmosphere. Simply put - having everyone sit down will require a lot more work from stewards, will cost the club more money in extra policing and will be highly detrimental to the atmosphere inside the stadium! Having a "standing area" would be a great idea, but the FA are scared of any potential repercussions.
