  1. And that's my own tactic too, not piggybacking off the work of others and taking the credit for it like you Tokyo!
  2. We were 6th up until about March, then injuries took their toll and we dropped like a stone! Increased the squad size second season and not had too many problems since. So nyeh.
  3. http://www.filedropper.com/supermikeyspecial That's the one i'm using!
  4. Picked this up again, playing on an updated database (with the current squads) with Saints. First time i've had success with them on recent FM games! Season 1: In - Giacomo Bonaventura (£7.5m), Aymen Abdennour (£12.5m), Tony Watt (£3m), Adam Maher (Jan - £14m), Mamadou Sakho (Jan - £10m), Doria (Jan - £14.5m) Out - A f*ckload of people including Sharp, Tadanari, Guly, Jos etc. Finished: 11th Honours: Capital One Cup (Winners) Season 2: In - Billy Davies (Newgen), Tonci Maretic (Newgen), Chris Anderson (Newgen), Francesco Bardi (Free), Viktor Fischer (£17m) Out - A f*ckload more people including Kelvin, Forte, Fox, Cropper, Yoshida Finished: 2nd Honours: Europa League (Winners - beat Real Madrid 4-1 in the final!) Season 3: In - Couple more newgens and Bartosz Salamon on a free. Out - JayRod, Boruc, Isgrove and a few more. Currently mid-way through S3, qualified easily from our CL group (Atletico Madrid, Zenit & BATE) and 4th in the Prem (3pts off top spot - looking to win the title this season). Wrapped up deals for Stevan Jovetic and Theo Walcott to join in January, Abdennour's off to Fenerbahce. GK: Bardi RB: Cork (retrained) LB: Davies/Shaw CB: Lovren CB: Sakho RDM: Wanyama LCM: Schneiderlin RW: Bonaventura RAM: Maher LW: Fischer LST: Osvaldo Walcott's in for Bonaventura come January and Jovetic in for Osvaldo, as he's getting on a bit and his goals have dried up this season. May have to let go of Rickie soon Enjoying FM13 again until the new one comes out...
  5. One of the games will get pushed to Wednesday then. Hopefully not ours, take advantage of a tired squad from the Sunday derby match.
  6. Poyet "in talks" for the job http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11695/8940933/sky-sources-gus-poyet-in-talks-with-sunderland-over-managers-job Hope he gets hired so we can give him abuse again; all together now... "Beat by the Dagenham, you're getting beat by the Dagenham!"
  7. Shame it wasn't closer otherwise I would have gone, can't justify a trip to Sunderland on a weeknight in the cup! Winnable game though and puts us into the Quarter Finals if we go through...
  8. Think it's because the games are played so early in the season (for Prem clubs anyway). The focus of fans is still very much on the league atm, the FA Cup is the one that really fires people's imaginations because of the prestige and the fact that it's the chance to see your team lifting a trophy at Wembley at the end of the season instead of mid-way through.
  9. SaintsPlayer. EDIT: Blast, beaten to it by...er...that guy.
  10. Give a few of the kids a run out. ----------------GAZZA------------ CHAMBO---MAYA----JOS----FOX ------------CORK----JWP-------- ISGROVE-------GASTON-----GULY ------------------LEE------------- Subs: K.Davis, Clyne, Turnbull, S.Davis, Reed, Rowe, Sinclair
  11. If any hip-hop artist headlines it will be Kanye West. Another name being thrown around at the moment is The Stone Roses - now that I would definitely see!
  12. They subbed Bjork on the Other Stage in 2007. One of my goals in life is to see Arcade Fire headlining on the Pyramid Stage - it's a goal that I hoped I would achieve next year but maybe not! I'll be going to any other UK festival they're headlining though, just hope they don't decide to do Reading again
  13. I don't understand this stance, he is a career politician just like the others. It's very easy attack to make to try to capitalise on the anti mainstream party feeling at the moment. UKIP make try to disguise themselves as a non mainstream organisation, but they are just the same as the tories with more extreme policies on certain issues.
  14. I prefer this thread to yours DP - the title is less confusing Can't say I would be too fussed over Depeche Mode or Fleetwood Mac - I really want Arcade Fire to headline and I will be disappointed if they don't to be honest.
  15. Sunderland were one of my picks to go down - they bought far too many players and not enough in quality, whilst shipping out their two best players (Mignolet and Sessegnon). It's a recipe for disaster with a very inexperienced manager who is also incredibly divisive. They've got to get somebody in to steady the ship and fast!
  16. We did look better when Rickie went off. Osvaldo seemed more dangerous with an extra midfielder to play off too.
  17. There was a woman like that at Spurs away last season too. Why do people complain about it? Surely they're not stupid enough to expect everyone to sit down in the away end?
  18. All he needs is a bit of coaching on how to be more comfortable in possession and for his team mates to present him with more simple passing options. Think he tries to play long slicing passes on the deck that just get mopped up by Prem midfields.
  19. Lovren has been nothing short of excellent since he joined us. Stellar performance from him again today.
  20. Agree, that man in the hole links up play so well for us. Davis is great in that role.
  21. He came from 30 yards behind the play! Irritating as f*ck. We're playing so well, just hope we don't f*ck it up now! Got to get a 2nd.
  22. Luke's a Chelsea fan - surely if he was to leave us for anyone it would be them? Especially as Mourinho is managing them again.
