I think there's scope for a sitcom here. Duckhunter - Downtrodded husband, tightwadded and jingoistic in a foreign land. Catchphrase: "Bloody Greeks!" Mrs Duckhunter - Overbearing wife, eye for the young waiters. Kinda like Marlene from Only Fools. Catchphrase: "Ooh, what a beefcake!" Duckhunter Jr #1 - Slightly older than his brother, has a pack of Rothmans hidden in his room and rides a scooter. Duckhunter Jr #2 - Quieter than his elder brother, plays the clarinet and falls in love with a Greek boy in a twist on the old holiday romance plot. If any BBC execs (or Channel 4, i'm willing to stoop) are reading this, PM me and I will be happy to open discussions. A pilot script is currently being drafted by my team of writers.

The back 20 or so rows tend to stand up from blocks 37-42 (obviously more stand in the Northam). Had a ST in 38 for 2 years now and stood there for several years before.

I think the writers are doing a very good job in giving us all an idea as to how things are going to pan out over the next few weeks - i'm just waiting for that whole assumed reality to dissolve and that gigantic sucker punch you know is coming! I hated watching Saul get hit, it made me sad inside

Would've had JayRod off and Osvaldo on personally. Morgan didn't have a great first half, but he's a key player for us and worth keeping on the pitch. Lallana's was anything but a dive - watch the replay on MOTD. O'Shea had a fistful of his shirt and dragged him down. Clear pen.

Also think we missed Morgan Schneiderlin in the second half, lacked a proper ball-player in the middle of the park. Any ideas why he came off?

Think he needs a goal or two. He was sh!t hot for 5 minutes after the disallowed one today but faded really badly towards the end. There's finding space off the ball and then there's trying to avoid it... We've got the potential for a lethal strikeforce with Rickie, Osvaldo and Jay - they just need to start putting them in the net to get that momentum.

My MOTM for today, and a close 2nd against WBA after Wanyama. He's picked up the "applaud all the fans after the whistle" mantle from Jos too!

Think he was unlucky to have the goal ruled out going by replays, a lot of other linesmen would have given that but seems that we got caught out that time. Good finish too. Don't think he did too much else all afternoon really, poor touches and passes and put a few chances straight at the keeper. We should've had 4 or 5, Westwood had a blinder for them.

Have a sandwich before you go out, few bevvies at the pub, watch the game, few more bevvies afterwards and then a dodgy takeaway in the wee hours. That's the routine you should follow, don't bother with concourse food. It's always been sh!t, as has the drink.

In Block 38 looked like he was a good yard on. Have to see the replay though. The lino on the Itchen side was abysmal, missed 3 or 4 blatant offsides from both teams.

Referee was awful, Jay Rod was onside and looked like both of the penalty calls should have been given. Still, can't complain about the ref too much as we didn't take our chances. Hopefully when Osvaldo gets used to the team he'll start banging them in, looked very threatening at times. Powerful and very good with his feet. Also a mention for Dejan Lovren, who I thought was f*cking excellent. 2 very solid performances in a row from our CB pairing for the first time since....Killer and Claus!?

Going to be a tough one for us tomorrow, Sunderland are on a bad run of form and will want to go out and try and put us on the back foot. Just joined Carlisle. Somebody that was often spoken about by players as being a really positive influence in the dressing room, and put in some good performances for us. Like to think that he played quite a big part in getting us to where we are now, so I would like to say Thanks Danny!

I'm not entirely sure we need a wide player now - and perhaps the right targets aren't available. Lallana Rodriguez Ramirez Guly Mayuka Osvaldo JWP S.Davis Lambert All can play in attacking midfield. We don't play with wingers any more, because of the overlapping play from the full-backs. I think those options are more than good enough tbh.
