Premier League team, less than 100 miles away, lots of incentives for fans to travel, team won 4-1 in their last game...would've thought they'd take more than a couple of thousand. Even Reading sold out their allocation at SMS twice in 2 seasons!
-
F*cking dreadful. Don't think we've ever not sold out an away allocation in London since we returned to the Prem. 3/4s of their fans were sat down for the full 90 minutes last season as well!

Thanks for sending me a copy of those PM's Brian, I always suspected B2F had a heavy flow back in the day. That story with the lifeguard was lols too!

I'm not at liberty to divulge that information, but getting back on topic I have a 34c rack.

I think that knock he took to his ankle threw him off his stride a bit, didn't look the same after he came back on from the physio treatment just before half time. Could also be partially down to the fact that he was quite isolated up top as Steven Davis dropped pretty deep to pick the ball up and Dani likes to play on the shoulder. He was trying the right things, but for one reason or another they didn't come off yesterday - probably due to the fact that Evans & Jones were very solid as a unit and gave him no time on the ball. Think Fulham and Stoke are big games for him now, get a goal or two and get his confidence up. Think Adam brings out the best in him too.

You can see what the coaches have been working on with him in training, he looks so much more comfortable on the ball now than he did against West Brom and Norwich. Seems to look to make the easier pass now too, to save giving away possession too much. He's just going to get better and better, could be a brilliant player. One of the things I was looking forward to seeing yesterday was how he matched up against Fellaini - now there's no question as to who is stronger. Vic shrugged him off like a fly.

Post Match Reaction: Manchester United 1-1 SAINTS
SuperMikey replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I dunno, I thought 4-1 was a good result for your lot today. Top of the league too! -
Lovren's has gone down a lot from the last game, he was somewhere between 140-150 at Lyon and now seems to be ranging 130-140..
-
Noticed a big CA drop across the board for all players on the game MLG, any reason for that?
-
Seems I need to go back to the drawing board on Premier League management, lost every game so far with Saints! It's off to League Two I go to learn how to play FM14 properly...

Can only see this going 2 ways - we thump them, or they thump us. What with Rooney being on fire for England last night and United starting to get into their stride, I think we will be in for a very tricky game. ---------------BORUC---------------- CLYNE----FONTE----LOVREN----SHAW -------WANYAMA---MORGAN--------- S.DAVIS------LAMBERT------LALLANA --------------OSVALDO-------------- Subs: K.Davis, Chambers, Yoshida, JWP, Cork, Ramirez, JayRod Jay's maybe a little unlucky to miss out on the Starting XI for this one after his good display from the bench against Swansea, but we need somebody who can provide fresh legs up front - starting Rickie, Dani and Jay would mean a lack of strikers on the bench (unless you put Guly in there).

It was a bar, within a restaurant, but yeah I know what you're saying. Only problem is I travel to away games on a coach, so going into the centre of town isn't an option - have to find somewhere close to the stadium as we've only got limited time in the area. There were a fair few Saints fans in there last year though, and a decent atmosphere too.
-
I was wondering why Hodgson didn't call up a RB to replace Walker as well - fair enough he has Jones and Smalling who can play there, but neither of them are natural right backs. Glen Johnson is carrying an injury, and Jenkinson is a fringe player at Arsenal, so surely it would have made sense to call up Clyne or even Micah Richards rather than Sterling. I will say that England looked like they were missing something out wide without Walcott on Friday night, so perhaps that was the priority to address rather than having a natural RB in the squad.

We had a real problem trying to find a pub that would let away fans in last season, but we managed to find a restaurant round the corner from the Blaize that was letting away fans into the bar area. It's called Chester's Steakhouse, it's opposite the big Tesco store near the stadium. That's where we'll be heading on Saturday, although I will say that it's not an excellent bar - just the best we could find within walking distance from the ground that was accepting away fans.

He doesn't want to be here, Pochettino doesn't want him here, Napoli want him, he wants to go to Napoli. Don't see the issue here, just up to Cortese to get a good deal for the club and we can re-invest the money in a player who suits our system better.

Your mother and I are very disappointed in you, James.

Had a couple of listens today, like it! Dan's production is really great, gone for a bit of a deeper, murky sound. Less 8-bit than it was before. Some good tunes on there.

I learned on that day that Sambuca is not my friend. -
Didn't realise it had been disallowed until Swansea had the ball in our half. BBC match report said it was for "shirt-pulling", but I think it's more down to the fact that Dean made an awful decision to give us the corner and then bottled it. Can't disallow a perfectly good goal because you f*cked up on a decision beforehand, that's throwing yourself even deeper into the sh!t-pile.

Haha, rest assured I will be a charm. I'm a corporate man now don'tcha know? KRG - me and my mate got a bit boozy at Wigan away, made a few loud choice comments about Northerners in an area mostly containing old ladies and young families (including the Pap clan). Seems we upset a few people (although I will add it was mostly my mate who was f*cking mullered) and drew a few glares from people when we moved to a different part of the stand. Even the Stewards were handing out sweets at Half Time and walked straight past me without offering me one :(
