  1. 28 for me! I had myself down as a bit of a hipster but maybe not..
  2. Off to see Local Natives tonight at the Uni, should be a good 'un! Seen them 3 or 4 times already, hope they're as good as they were at Glasto.
  3. I also like the team that matey picked from both clubs squads:
  4. Got really into the Velvet Underground a few years back, the man was an utter legend. One of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century. RIP
  5. Good analysis, and I agree that it probably wouldn't have been the same result today against better opposition. Fulham have been very poor this season barring their result against the even poorer Crystal Palace last weekend. Can't say the result was ever in doubt, but if we had been playing a more organised unit (such as West Ham, Hull etc.) or a team that like to harry and not give our creative players space and time (like Man Utd last week) then it wouldn't have been nearly as resounding a performance as it was. We won the game because Fulham were awful, and they made us look good in the process of losing the game. They were disorganised, sloppy, unfit, off the pace and frankly ambivalent. Will be shocked if Jol's still there by Christmas if they carry on like this. Not saying we were bad, but Fulham's shocking display just made us look better than we actually were!
  6. Can't have been the first time N'Zonzi got wound up and lashed out at somebody - seems to happen every f*cking week!
  7. Listening to the album now (or at least the leaked copy of it that's circulating on the web, not sure if it's the 100% bona fide end product) and I have to say i'm enjoying it! The Suburbs didn't jump out at me as anything particularly special on first listen, but there are some tracks here that really sparkle. Reflektor is a genius single and has been banging around in my head for weeks now. Here Comes The Night Time is great as well, and I love the different musical and cultural influences running through the album. Will do more in-depth once i've had a couple more listens tomorrow!
  8. Got to admit, I was one of those people. That decision was so against the will of the fans that it was difficult to comprehend at first, but MP has been exemplary so far and has us playing the best football I have ever seen us play. You've got to admire the confidence and sheer balls of the man to make such an unpopular decision, but it's definitely been justified now. Also makes me feel secure that the club is being run correctly from the top down, no more of this clowning and over/underspending based on our situation. Future's bright!
  9. Rules is rules! Threw a punch, doesn't matter if it was at Lovren's arse Looked like some East German fisting action on MOTD though!
  10. Definitely a case for retrospective action there.
  11. Most of them were from the tickets that Fulham returned earlier in the week - usually full of away fans. People don't want to sit directly behind the goal often as you can't see f*ck all happening after about 20yds away from you! Great performance from us today anyway, although Fulham were f*cking dire. Never in doubt, and being 2-0 up at HT definitely showed that when we've struggled for opportunities in the first 45 minutes of games this season. Wanyama's come such a long way already with his game, he looks a different player now. Lazy comparison, but he reminds me more and more of Makelele every time I see him play! As for the Osvaldo debate, he's a cracking player who just hasn't settled in yet. He'll come good, and frankly I think he would have done well today. His touch of class in that final third would have helped sometimes, especially with all the gaps in Fulham's defence today (oddly enough they reminded me of us this time last year at times!).
  12. His cross won the corner from which we scored a late equaliser at Old Trafford last week - that's one to tell the grand kids! He does a job for the squad, and he does it well.

  14. A lot of what Russell said in that interview resonated with me, but some of it didn't. I would count myself as one of the apathetic young people on this planet, I see modern politics as an almost entirely self-serving, self-preserving cycle of power. Something has to be done to address the serious shortcomings in the world - why should some members of the population be absolutely stinking rich while there are other, less fortunate people dying of starvation each day? The world is so f*cked up it's unbelievable, but people go along with things the way they are because "that's the way it is". Surely something can be done to make a change? I'm not saying that he's going to be some kind of spearhead for a new global Socialist utopia, but some of his points are irrefutable (despite the best efforts of Paxman). And as he says, it's not up to him to devise how change is going to occur, but i'm sure we can all agree on what the end goal should be: no poverty, no starvation, and the global populous to be treated more fairly by the powers that be. While I find his views abhorrent, Tommy Robinson (aka Steven Lennon) whipped up a real frenzy with the whole EDL movement and showed that there is a real underclass even in a very developed society such as ours that are being constantly f*cked up the jacksy by modern politics and modern politicians. I don't really think that now is the time for us all to rise up against the system, but there are some incredibly serious issues that can be addressed which are frankly being ignored.
  15. I got this when I googled "cash money"
  16. They're plants from the government Pap, it's just me and you left now. Don't trust anyone.
  17. We're supposed to be "proactive" and "think around" our problems in my job now. Horrifying.
  18. Ocean Village near the P&P? My missus looked at one of those flats and saw him lurking around the hallways apparently..haha
  19. Robert Deans looks like his face has been shrunk and then put back onto his head. In fact, I can imagine a few SW members as people in that photo...it's a fun new game for all of us to play!
  20. It's so perfect, right!? "Do ya wanna hear your daddy sing, cos I groove to Kanye's new stuff"
  21. [video=youtube;5Krz-dyD-UQ]
  22. Hate that f*cking wurzel. Good riddance! Wonder who they'll get in...like others have said, nobody who can keep them up.
  23. KRG -
  24. There is that, i'm just amazed that any team in the top tier would take a small amount to a relatively close away game - maybe i've been spoiled by travelling with our lot these past few years..
