  1. In relation to game being off the met office is showing -4 on sunday night for London - so frost may be a problem!
  2. I dont mind not having my seat for my ST we normally sit in the family centre and this gives us the opportunity to try out other areas of the ground, as kids will soon be too old for Family Centre - we are trying Itchen North this time, having done northam, chapel, kingsland north - different experiences - different people - isnt that what its all about!
  3. another ground ticked off, driving up with son - makes a good end to half term
  4. Got my tickets for this dragging along the husband along - making it a weekend
  5. Got my tickets on Saturday 3 of us going. Staying with relatives making a yorkshire weekend.
  6. I was sat directly behind the goal yesterday the view was rubbish if you sat or stood, other half moved across to spare seats on the left of the goal better view but could not see corner flags. Two small lads changed their seats to get better view but could see, for people standing me included, have advised my lad to stand on seat, however spotted two speare seats in front row and told them to just go and sit there - noone moved them and they got a good view of the game. On away games you pay your money and you take your chancesas to as to where you sit and who you are sat next too. I have not had too much trouble and often swapped seats. The trick is to ask for seats on an end when you book. As most stewards at away matches have been ok with him standing a bit in the stair ways.
  7. Condolences to all the family, I will always remember him on the day of the JPT final when the team were collecting the cup and there he was with his own camera taking pictures lost in the moment of excitement. Not many Chairman like that. Lets hope that we can make his vision come to fruition. RIP Markus
  8. Was surprised at the parking fees when I went to mega store, I asked about staff parking, and was told by the staff in the shop they have to pay£100.00 a year to park and the money was taken out of their pay £50 this month and £50.00 september (no refund if you leave early), the part time staff have to pay £2.00 a day to park - staff are getting round it by taking mopeds (no cost) park somewhere free and using Cycles to come the last couple of miles. This is in some respects is cheap to park for the whole year I have to pay £500.00 for season tickets for either Winchester or Fareham for a year - however I feel that this is one more extra cost that I dont want to pay on top of away ticket coach for one adult and one child and then the extra ticket costs so will mean I will probably drop a couple of away matches this season due to additional costs, where needs must I am sure that people including me will find away around these additional costs and there will be no extra mone going to the clubs coffers - there is a recession on!
  9. Yippee just got mine in the post this morning - dropped off application first wave first day and got the seats I wanted. 3 in row 35 block 132
  10. I can now join the other thread of mug people who have received their tickets. I took mine in first day of first phase with a surname starting with the letter W just got my two adults one child row 35 block 132 as requested in application. Keep the faith looks like they are arriving now!!!
  11. T minus 6 days took my request in on day one phase one money went out of account on 22 February - sat like a child waiting for my birthday cards from the posite this morning and still no delivery Am getting really ****ed off now - would have thought you got them out as they came in or a least got them in envelopes ready to go!!! Ticket office please note: you need to put out a message on the website about what will happen if tickets dont arrive - like most people I cannot get down to St Marys to pick up tickets during the week I work during opening hours, and will need to alter travel plans on sunday if have to pick up duplicates at wembley. I do not want the whole fiasco I had last time with duplicate tickets at the away game at Leeds (where postal tickets did not turn up ever!!) waiting for the coaches to come up from Southampton - at least there were only a few coaches at that game - it will be a lottery of which one of the 100 home coaches will arrive on time with the tickets. Rant over.
  12. still have not got mine hand mine in on day one of season tickets sales with a W surname probably be one of the last - however having suffered from not receiving tickets in the post before and have to get duplicates - a right royal pain the butt - I am a tad worred - so will give until monday - one week of posting - then start calling the ticket office.
  13. Yes, we had the same problem with our virgin media box, however went to TV on demand and fast forwarded to the same spot 37/38 minutes and low and behold it was there not completely missing on box recording.
  14. Crap, I still have not got my tickets and I went to the ticket office and handed it in for the first phase - so should be no trouble there, season ticket holder registered both home and away for MK Dons on the database, duly double checked all details onit were correct. I have had tickets go missing before by using the telephone line so thought handing it in would be the safest best option. Lets hope they are at home when I get in tonight! Took the name of the person I handed it in to and I know who my postman is so think I covered all bases!!! Otherwise it will be a quick trip down to the ticket office and a very long letter in my best Italian / French and German - covering all bases for the top guys in case they dont get the message.
  15. Three more from Southampton - another new ground ticked off - taking old man with us on this one - need him to drive as silver wedding party in farnborough on the way home.
  16. New ground for me, picking up eldest son from end of summer contract in Shrewsbury, on the way up, with all his junk and the obligatory bucket to catch last nights dinner etc (this will be his first away football match) Youngest son and me still trying to convert him to football from mountain climbing - not much success but we keep going, however, saints are the team he supports just needs to be more enthusiatic.
  17. Preston by far, good time in the pub beforehand, quick whiz round the football musuem, dragged husband up for match (not saints fan but working on it) spent the whole first half moaning about football went absolutley mental when DMG scored the winner. Brilliant!
  18. Jan has to go, he is one dimensional and does he not realise that his "young" team were brought up under George Prost who played them as a very successful 4-4-2, players are playing out of position in a 5-47590239853290 or what ever it is each week, please please please bring back Nigel Pearson at least the players had some fight and passion under him and knew what position they were playing!!!
