Wow, at last it is here, however, manager has booked my normal non footballing holiday dates (pompey fan!) so will miss the first three, so leaves me with the first two weeks of the season. Really wanted to go to Man City Husband is a city fan and would have wanted to go, hope sky move this to earlier in the day then can drive back down to get tunnel train in the same day! Not too worried about missing wigan -although they did have a good run in - so suspect this will be tougher than we think. So I only hope that Sky puts back the manu game to the sunday so dont miss this one. The only good thing is that we know we are definately on MOD and more than 2 minutes highlights are guarenteed, plus you can usually get this on TV in Europe.

I tried three times last night to renew and would not give me a concession for child even though I too had pre registered with dates of birth - emailed them last night but no response as yet, poor customer interface for something I am spending a great deal of money on, not really prepared to hang on the phone for ages (work wont like that!) - so looks like a trip down to the ticket office in person for me, unless they have sorted it out tonight when I will have yet another go at renewing.

http://www.footballshirtculture.com/12/13-kits/swindon-town-2012-2013-adidas-away-football-shirt.html Swindon's new away shirt would be good if the colours were reversed (so blue stripe across the middle)

Agree with lots of the posts above, I am glad we are out of Div 1 however, had a great time - did more away games than previously as affordable, remember great banter with the Dag and Redbridge goalie during the match!!! It also brought us a wembly trip which helped with missing the playoffs that season - good luck.

9.2 If two or more Clubs have the same number of points, goal difference and goals scored the highest placed Club shall be determined by the respective League records against each other, taking into account in order of precedence, points gained, goal difference and goals scored. If the above procedures do not separate the Clubs, then the Clubs concerned shall play off a deciding League Match or Matches under arrangements approved by the Board on a neutral ground. The net gate money after deducting the usual match expenses shall be equally divided between the two competing Clubs. Any Club staging such a play off match shall be entitled to charge as an expense against the receipts of the match 10% of the gross gate receipts after deduction of Value Added Tax. In the event of such a match being arranged by the Board to be played on the ground of a Club which is not a member of The League, then a similar charge as an expense against the receipts of the match shall be paid by The League who shall otherwise be responsible for the financial arrangements made with the Club staging the match. These provisions shall determine the ranking of Clubs in their respective Divisions. in case anyone wants to know it in full the rule

OMG what an afternoon and game - Kelvin fantastic - watching the players sat in the stand in front of us was amazing. That final free kick Danny Fox was tood up with his hands on his head - you could see he was living the freekick - you can see the team spirit

Went up to the Huddersfield game last year and stayed at the Cedar Court Hotel (Halifax/Huddersfield) just off M62 we paid £80.00 for 2 adults and one child with full english and with the added bonus of the team plus Cortese, who held meetings at breakfast with adkins and aaron martin unfortuntely not close enough to hear conversation. http://www.cedarcourthotels.co.uk -
I too thought stewards were good - with a long queue for drinks - I asked one of them if he could go to the empty corporate stand and get me two drinks which he duly did. Good sense of humor - over the Alan Carr thing - I think he will get a lot of stick from his steward colleagues who were joining in on the side lines.

I have only just returned from the game having stayed up overnight. I agree with lady saint when I heard the stat for shots on target I wondered if I was at the same game - the" shots " that I saw were very very weak - my granny could have hit them harder - yes on target but hardly shots . The pitch was not as rough as at Dag and Redbridge so could have played better football, felt the ball was in the air a lot of the time, felt that we got away with two penalty shouts from hartlepool. I must admit though I did feel cheered by the first ten to fifteen minutes of the second half - better effort, however that soon ebbed away to long balls, inaccurately weighted passes - although again I took some heart with some intercepted passes. Nice to see that Alan Carr made an appearance perhaps he was doing one of those reality job swap shows! I suppose just have to forget this one and move on to Saturday. COYR

Got back this afternoon and changd my Rochdale tickets for hartlepool tickets. Driving up on Tueday morning, could not stand sitting on the bus for 11 hours! Accommodation was nil in hartlepool (have son with me) so now driving down to Darlington after the game at least I am going in the right direction! Another ground ticked off - hope game goes ahead otherwise this will be my fourth cancelled away game (Walsall, Charlton and Rochdale)
