I saw about 5 people wearing Saints shirts whilst working including a little lad of about 6 or 7 who i swear i saw last year! Also saw a couple by the Orange tent and a woman with a Saints carrier bag walking the drag from the main meeting point to the Pyramid via the cider bus (miserable cuunt, unlike his staff!). On the working front be aware that if you want paying and entry you'll be working so hard that you'll probably be too knackered to want to go out and about. Once again the punters ruined the festival by turning up, but it was great when they all fooked off on Monday;)

Just back from the site after dropping off the accomodation , without wanting to tempt fate it's currently dry and covered with acres of lush green grass:D The atmosphere on site is currently chilled and relaxed which i've not experienced at this stage before, so hopefully thumbs up it will remain so. There appears to be quite alot of change around where i camp/caravan (I market) with the Leftfield tent having moved about 50-75M towards the Jazz World stage and a new meeting place/village green having appeared in its place, it also looked like a new stage has appeared in the field behind (down the hill from the Acoustic Stage towards the Circus Area/Big Skate Ramp) no other info at present. I'll try and use my iphone to send messages, photos and any gossip i hear, but to all those going have a great time. New stage (Queen's Head) and Village Green where Leftfield Tent used to be, "]"]"]"]

We'll caravan is packed, battery charged, shower working, mucho booze overload and i'm taking it down on Saturday afternoon, i'll try and take some decent photos so you know what to expect. FAO Glastonbury Virgins! All you need to take is money, wellies, baby wet wipes, comfort clothes spray and deodorant;)

It's not right, but i don't see the point in the media getting involved.
-
The best bar/pub used to be a marquee in Jazz World Camping which was then set up like a boozer, quality.
-
So far it; £762 with Air China and a 24 hr. stopover in Beijing Vs. Etihad £808

Bugger, i'll have to check but for some reason £280 is ringing more bells, even then it's still ferkin' cheap, and no i don't think it makes me a better fan (do people still argue about who's the better fan?)
-
They got them, they just didn't buy into the media hype.
-
If you bothered to have a seasn ticket before you would know that renewal last season was only £280 for an adult in the Northam which works out at £12.50 a game.

It's pretty much the same sort of bands that played in the Leftfield tent mixed and combined with the QUeen's head, it opens Thursday and the lineup look good. Have a look at the Official Glasto Facebook or website it's got maps and the line-ups.

The park is great but a long walk uphill, the green is where the Leftfield tent used to be on the way up to the acoustic tent. I will be on site next saturday to set up the caravan and then returning sunday to stay until the 30th. I'm being led to believe i'll have interweb access this year so i'll post some photos so you can see how nice the site is before all you ****s turn up:D

How do you stop windscreen wiper blades squeaking?

Apply WD40 or vinegar solution -
Tesco's is the cheapest for booze at the moment, cheaper than Morrisons, Sainsburys and ASDA. Just stocked up with lager and cider for Glastonbury and its 3 cases of 15x440ml Strongbow for £20 and other beers which i've forgotten. Don't forget the trolley:D

Brilliant.

I know, but you get to the point where you can't be arsed chasing them on the phone all day and other times you lose the will to live, this is in addition to what my brother has done, it's tag-team stylee. Hopefully they've stopped it now i'll get my monthly update soon!
-
It's just an excuse really, they're moving from here soon and they're fellow saints fans and until they left fellow season ticket holders. I appreciate it will cost more but i still want to go. Any help would be appreciated though, do you have a travel agents secret handshake i can use?
-
That's a joke title right? You would not believe the grief we have had trying to cancel my brothers subscription. It involves 4 or 5 very long phone calls and at least 2/3 letters over a 6-10 month period!
-
Good luck, make sure you make a record of when you canceled and with whom you spoke to.

I can get a flight now to tomorrow with Etihad or similar for about £550 inc. taxes but anywhere near Christmas the average is about £1100-1200. If i could buy a Singapore airlines flight for £850 i may just buy it, but from this end they're charging £1300.
-
Normally no, but you've never dealt with Setanta.
-
I need to be in Brisbane for Christmas Day, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions that will get me a return flight to Brisbane or Sydney for less than £800 inc. taxes for 10-14 days. Willing to pursue any theories, advice or experience (legal) that may be proffered. I realise it's the expensive time to go but i'd like to surprise my godchildren.

Setanta are the biggest bunch of ******s i've ever had the misfortune to deal with, wouldn't know customer care if it smacked them in the face with a shovel. Hope all the staff catch an STD and get made redundant.

Were you a courier in a previous life?
