I don't think it's a blessing. Personally I think they will be desperate to beat us after Adkins comments about them after the home fixture. My worry is that they will play the kids vs Huddersfield or go soft on them allowing them to pick up three points.

Lambert's been getting a lot of that this season, especially by some people in the Northam. I suppose he's an easy target when he doesn't score but he still does well at bringing players into the game and will usually be involved in any goal we score.

Not a great performance considering we were playing one of the worst sides in the league. Can't think of many good performers, Dickson had a good game, as did Fonte but there were not really many more. Guly was awful, but got the important goal. Still can't see why we signed him. He lost the ball a lot and seemed to be very lazy whilst on the ball. How come Lallana didn't play? I suspect it's already been covered but he was fit enough to play 15 minutes against Rochdale yet didn't make the bench today? Our taking of chances was poor today. Forte missed two chances which he really should have scored and Lambert missed a header which you'd usually expect him to score. Connolly was a positive for me, thought he looked good when he came on, shame it won't last as he will pick up an injury.

Better 2nd half performance but we really did play **** poor in the first half, due to the formation.

Lambert was limping heavily inside the last 10 minutes tonight. Hopefully it was just a knock and not the sign of an injury.

I still think Peterborough are a massive threat. Huddersfield are on a solid run at the moment, it really wouldn't surprise me if they beat Brighton at their place either. Brighton will be up and Champions by then, they won't care that it's their last game at Withdean. They will just be happy to get the 90 minutes out the way.

Started well but didn't offer much upfront. MK Dons got into the game a bit more and were a nice passing side with a fair amount of movement and pace. We began to play very poor and hoofed it a lot, after the re-start we continued to do the same until the 60th minute mark. I was moaning about Adkins putting Forte on, I was silenced 5 minutes later. We started to play with a bit more confidence and our players were actually moving quickly. It would have been a nightmare had Dons scored at the death mainly down to the fact that their time wasting contributed massively to the additional 5 minutes. Davis - Didn't have much to do, felt he got beat too easily for the 2nd goal. 5/10. Butterfield - Showed the striker too much for the 2nd goal, thought he did alright before that. 5/10. Fonte - Did fine, won mostly everything in the air. 6/10. Jaidi - Same as above. Dealt with that massive defender for the corners the Dons had in the final minutes. 7/10. Harding - Got forward well, majority of his crosses were a disappointment though. 6/10. Guly - Showed a good touch, but had some poor passing. Also didn't pick out the right ones at two key points when Rickie was free in the area. 6/10. Hammond - Did alright in the defensive midfield role. Jumped into a challenge at the end though which may have costed us points on another day. 6/10. Chaplow - Battled well but gave the ball away a lot, his passing was off too. 5/10. Lallana - I'm not sure what to think of his performance. He showed some nice skills but sometimes he holds onto the ball too much. His crossing was poor, but there was a massive improvement from Adam after the 60th minute mark. 7/10. Lambert - Didn't do much, got into some good positions though but Guly didn't spot him. Good work for the 3rd goal to create the space for Lee and then give him the through-ball. 7/10. Barnard - Battled well, not much really went for him. Great finish for the 3rd goal. 7/10. Forte - Silenced me. Didn't really have much of the ball but he was in the right place at the right time when it mattered. 7/10. Richardson - Seemed calm, dealt with the pace he was against. 6/10. Stephens - Didn't see too much of him on the ball but he seemed calm and wanted to receive passes most of the time.

If this is true and Oxo is out for the rest of the season then why didn't Adkins bring in a winger on loan? Don't really feel confident with N'Guessan running down the wing, he seems like a player who has very poor ball control and the Leicester fans said his crossing was **** when he was playing for them...

I'm more worried about Brighton taking their foot off the gas for when they play Huddersfield. They will have promotion and the title in the bag by then.
