*Sigh* -
It means nothing if we don't beat Charlton tomorrow. We could be 5th on Friday if Dons win again on Friday.
-
Isn't Boyd a left midfielder? Would you really want him over Lallana?
-
Meh, in my opinion that would a poor partnership. Guly really isn't as good as people think on here, he hit a bit of form before his loan was due to expire and since signing permanently he has been lazy, bullied off the ball by defenders smaller than him and poor in the air. Not to mention his eye for a pass is terrible.
-
Most probably due to the idiots that ran on the pitch when we scored our 2nd last season. We had something like 3,300 last season.

That looks nothing like Cortese.. -
League One for another season, I really do not think we will win all our games in hand.

It's fine, we got Forte instead. . . .

The Football League highlights of the game are on Saints Player now. Not sure what I think of that penalty claim, he looks like he goes down a little too easily. -

Fair play to you, you're far better than that other AFCB fan who posts on here. You lot have had a great season so far and 2nd place is still very much up for grabs. Posh are a real worry for me at the moment, they're on fire! -
This whole AFCB thing is getting so boring now, but it isn't a surprise that they think about us in that way when we have so many supporters who are signing up to their forums and acting like ****ing retards.

I doubt Lallana will make it in the team, he's been good this season but not as good last season (when he still didn't make it). I suspect Pilkington and Oxo will be the two wingers in the team.
-
Disappointing performance but three points is three points. We will most probably need a better performance if we are to beat Bournemouth though.

Very poor bench, shows that we did not do enough in January.

Adkins: "There is scope to dip into the loan market"
Saints foreva replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
MLG will be along shortly saying about how Lallana was signed on a new deal and how we signed two players from Championship clubs, along with Guly who was wanted by another Serie A. I agree with you by the way. -
Would be good, won't catch on though.

Only 1322 tickets for Bournemouth!
Saints foreva replied to fanimal's topic in Saints Away Supporters
Thankfully there isn't anything on my history, hopefully my application fails as after last night I really do not want to go to another away game this season - we always tend to lose when I go! -
When a set of supporters who are currently facing relegation to League One are happy about you taking one of their players off it doesn't really strike me as a good signing. Jason Puncheon's better - you know, that guy currently playing for a Premier League club. But Adkins couldn't handle his attitude whereas Pardew could...
-
Doubts have started about Adkins now. Today we were awful, couldn't play it around them and tended to hoof it a lot. Referee was awful too, but not as bad as some fans will make out. Adkins lack of ambition in January will be the reason why we don't win promotion. He mentioned that it's hard to find the right type of players in January to improve the squad - John Forte and N'Guessan did NOT improve the squad one bit. How was it that Pardew managed to get in Fonte while Adkins gets in a Leicester player with the first touch of a rapist and a Sc-unthorpe reject?!

OS isn't working on my browser for some reason... Anyone know what time the coach leaves St. Mary's on Tuesday?

Played quite poor but the Swindon goal woke us up a bit and we played better from there. Davis - At fault for the goal, shouldn't have been beat like that. Thankfully it didn't cost us though, his catching appeared to be much better today as well. 6/10. Butterfield - Started off very poorly in the first half, kept hoofing it and didn't give Oxo enough support when we were attacking. Looked much better in the 2nd half I though though. 6/10. Fonte - Wasn't up to his usual standards but done a good job. 7/10. Jaidi - Good performance from Jaidi, stopped Akindi from having a clear shot at goal and it was a good header for goal number 3. 7/10. Harding - Caught out a couple of times but was solid enough. 6/10. Chamberlain - Looked good going forward, unlucky not to score in the first half after a great run, shame about his run for his disallowed goal considering he looked like he had a fair amount of time. 8/10. Hammond - Didn't control the game very well until the 2nd half, kept losing it and placing poor passes. 6/10. Chaplow - Battled well and made some nice runs. 6/10. Lallana - He done well attacking but the problem for me is that he tends to drift into the centre of the pitch too often, this leaves only Harding on the left side restricting his attacking options, but then again his goal came from the middle so maybe I'm being a bit harsh. 7/10. Lambert - Some nice flick-ons, unlucky not to have more than one goal today and won some vital headers. 8/10. Guly - Not sure what to make of his performance, missed two sitters and kept getting pushed off the ball. He's unpredictable, nice pass for the first goal but that was about the only good thing he done all game - 5/10. Barnard - Kept running and battled well. Got a deserved goal. Start him vs Walsall please! 7/10. Morgan - Kept the ball well, really wished he had shot when he assisted Oxo's disallowed goal though. 7/10.

I was wondering why his name was being chanted today, terrible news. RIP.
