PNE chairman confirmed that they have agreed to sale Chaplow to us in January for £50k. I've not been impressed with Chaplow if I'm honest, nothing like the player he was back in the Championship with us and there are far better players in L1 who we could most probably get for a reasonable price in January.

I suspect he might now though, with Harding's OG at the weekend.

Cortese said after the Tranmere match that there was money for Pardew in the Summer to spend, but a couple of deals didn't work out. He also said that funds will be available in January for Adkins.

A mate of mine told me a couple weeks ago that Puncheon will be leaving soon and that Adkins will be making an attempt to get Martyn Woolford from S****horpe as a replacement. He is usually hit and miss with his inside knowledge.
