Fourth_Official really doesn't know his Saints news, he said we would be signing Jemal and Gorkss at the beginning of the month, those didn't happen. He said we were interested in Nicky Maynard but Radio Solent said Saints had never been interested in signing him. He didn't mention anything about the three we signed until they were announced by the club.

Fourth_Official is rarely on the mark when it comes to Saints.

While Thomas didn't really perform to great levels here, his goal vs Ipswich and winning penalty in the JPT more than paid the fee back imo. I was gutted for him when he missed out on a place in the side at Wembley.

The away highlights are the reason why I tend to avoid Saints Player. I sign up for a month or so every so often to see if things have improved but they don't. I was really looking forward to some amazing footage from Brighton and Plymouth away games last season but both were edited with crap music/effects, why not just do extended highlights (with Solent commentary) in a similar way to how they do the home highlights? The standard Football League highlights are similar to the ones Sky Sports/BBC use, only difference I can remember is The Football League one's have replays and an annoying commentator.

I seem to remember loads of posts on Pompey forums how they would fill Fratton Park most weeks if they managed to get a takeover. The takeover happened but still fans don't turn up, the two home attendances this season for the blue few have been nothing short of LOLable. 16k vs Brighton - our fixture with Brighton managed 10,000 more with Brighton having very similar numbers at both games (3,000).

I suspect this season we will see an increase on the 1,487 we averaged last season.

I didn't think he was that good on Saturday. Kept giving the ball away in and around the penalty area, probably our weakest player on the day. Thankfully Leeds didn't switch Gradel and Snodgrass, Gradel would have destroyed Harding.
