What deadlines have the PL extended?
-
If they were trying to help pompey they would not have withheld their TV money to pay their football debts.

What are the odds on 'end of the week' becoming 'sometime this month'?

Just give those goalposts one more push.... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Hughes-revels-in-rare-assist.5960218.jp

Surely its up to the as-yet-to-be-appointed administrators who buys the club? Admin = -9 points = CCC = lot less sky money. Have to be a damn good price for someone to pay up?
-
So very trusting.....

Indeed no sign that the wages have been paid as yet and I am sure after all the furore over the non-payment that they would get the info out very quickly if they had paid the wages.
-
Actually it says So it sounds to me like 3 million had been taken off already and now they are holding on to the rest to cover other football debts (such as the money Lens are owed I guess?) unless pompey pay them first.

If they have to sell players and can't be sure they will be able to get people in how many can they actually lose (given a number already off at the African Cup of inconvenient timing) before they have a problem having enough players for matches? I thought I read on one of the links that they were down to about 18 players?

It's very 'web 2.0' but this site is quite interesting. Its plots snow reports and pictures off twitter. http://uksnow.benmarsh.co.uk/ (select hi vis icons to make it clearer where the snow is)

I don't care what Peter Story says, I don't believe that the only way we are going to get paid to is do "I'm a little tea pot" actions.
-
Those that are on very large wages might not (on the assumption that a lot late is possibly better than less, but on time) but I guess after the 14 day period they must become free agents(?) so some might get a decent signing on fee elsewhere?
-
They must be stuck behind one of those people paying bags of coins...

talking of whom this is quite fun... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/jan/02/portsmouth-bell-john-westwood

It appears it has become a lot more common with spam to set the from address to the to address. About a quarter of all the spam arriving in my wife's account claims to have also come from her.

For all the skinflints out there who don't want to pay to upgrade their touch from a pre 2.0 version of the firmware: http://www.altafsayani.com/2008/07/12/download-ipod-touch-20-firmware-for-free/ Did this on my wife's and worked fine.

I am waiting for the final iteration and will welcome the new co-chairman Michael Wildest.

Which reminds me of a time a uni when playing a board game (darkover if I remember correctly) that required on a player to do a dare rather than lose their position. One person's dare was 'Go into the common room and turn the TV over' and he said he could not as he was not strong enough

Had to laugh yesterday as listening to 5 live on the way back from shopping (what an exciting life) and they had someone on who had written a 'witty' book about new dictionary words to describe football situations and there was one along the lines of.. 'A rumoured consortium of local businessmen that always appears when a club is for sale but never make an bid'

You could get something like this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=28724&doy=19m9&C=SO&U=strat15 probably cheaper on ebay I expect.

I think its down to the company that installed their own equipment in the exchange to decide which exchanges they think this is commercially viable to do. I suppose you could get other local residents to email one of the larger companies doing the LLU such as sky and say you will subscribe to them if they install the equipment but don't know what, if any, effect that would have.
