I have wondering what the 24 million to the PFA was in their documents. I sort of assume from this article that its all the outstanding wages on all the players contracts? Does that sound right?
-
Completely True* (* May be a lie)
-
However the players have been paid at least a portion of their salaries since the season ended and that would be money that could have gone to creditors. The money spent in the administration must have come from somewhere as well.
-
I know exactly what is going on, its just it would take another 1287 pages to explain it!
-
Is it a mistake to look forward to this film?
-
superfluous 'his' in that tweet.

Obviously they don't know about the leave as a free agent option? More likely perhaps is his agent does know but is not going to mention it to interested clubs as he will not get his share of the fee.
-
best comedy bit bids! such optimism! What happened to we are trying to give them away? If any of those 4 players want to leave they have just to give 14 days notice and leave as a free agent with the likelihood of a higher signing on fee. Anyway at the moment it appears that the safest place to store a box of priceless china in pompey is against the player exit door.

The obvious deadline date is the CVA meeting date. However Chainrai may have an idea of a date before then by which the wage bill will have to have been reduced to an acceptable level for him to commit to the CVA.

Now that harry appears to have left spurs I wonder if he is considering increasing his south cost property portfolio??? Now that would be a laugh!
-
Must be many a spurs fans with fingers crossed hoping that the curse of team's harry's left does not call at their door.

Back on the topic of the thread please.... Oh well back to the lowe/anti-lowe thing then....

http://www.portsmouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=284467 I think we safely assume that 'around 800' is actually 'under 800'. How many of those are people who have scraped together the £100 to show support but will not be able, or willing, to put in the remaining £900.

I think many people commenting on how the set looks (i.e. the teletubby comments) are not taking on board the fact that the set will change over the course of the ceremony to reflect a more urban society. What we have seen pictures of is just how it will look at the start.
-
Bit of a mismatch this evening as well with Pompey On Line against Russian.
-
Other things: 1) the budget for the ceremonies was doubled by the current government and to some extent it was not a bad decision as you are selling the country to the billions watching and the value for money I suspect compares favourable to advertising tourism in the UK via normal routes. 2) I suspect given the price of the tickets (20.12 for the lowest but 2012 for the highest) that the ceremonies will be self financing.

Something Boyle is definitely aware off.

I think its a far better option that thousands of people randomly dancing in random coloured costumes which appears to be blueprint for all other opening ceremonies. I am optimistic that it is one persons vision not something drawn up by committee. These things are always long and expensive, its what's expected, but hopefully this one will be both good and something different from previous ones.

Hopefully people who leaves their children behind somewhere are not going to have positions of responsibility... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18391663 Oh well!

Thinking about it what are the trust going to do to clear the football creditors debt? I guess they are going to have to get someone to loan them the money to pay it to be paid back from the parachute payments?
-
minus the money to those owed under 2,500 and the 500K to the rest. Also still not sure of the significance of the fact that the document list proof of debt of about 25 million to 'Professional Football Players Claim Element 1,2,3 and 4'. If those are football debt, though the figures above imply not, they have no chance.

8,463K minus a few weeks wages. This is the relevant section in the CVA Document:
