Fairly sure top item is not the winding up order. Those look like this one (top result) for them for last time. http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/all=portsmouth+football+winding/start=1

Can't see how the court case could take 2 weeks. Once assumes the fact the money was transferred cannot be disputed as one assumes there is a fairly cast iron paper trail. So the only thing to be determined is if it should be subject to tax or not which would involve H&M coming up with a good reason why it was tax free.
-
Are issued and advertised the same thing? I was under the impression that the order had been issued at the end of last week but had yet to be advertised so that people like banks and credit agencies know they need to act on it?
-
So just a pair of counts
-
So are they or are they not allowed to sell players now they are subject to a winding up order? http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-Michael-Appleton-told-he-must-sell-players-or-see-club-go-bust-article856467.html

Any news who is on the subs bench?
-
Only if they lie about the team they support!
-
I assume with no movement elsewhere the next stage is the publication of the winding up order in the london gazette and then a date for it to go to court?
-
I worry we might peak too soon by padding the thread out too quickly with pointless posts (like this one).

I could have been in the lead if it was not for those pesky kids (oh and DP and ON).

Ahhh rules. I believe pompey may be aware of them but they are still not sure what they are for.
-
apparently they can magic the money up from somewhere, from the same article:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/jan/21/portsmouth-tax-michael-appleton?newsfeed=true and "Oh yes you have!" and I thought Panto season was over. How can you with one breath say you owe HMRC 1.6 million and then in the next claim you don't have millions in liabilities?
-
The HMRC lack of payments has made the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16652130.stm Though they too appear to be falling for the "its not a problem because the club will be sold next week" line.

Hope the next time, if there is one, someone from solent or whoever interview Lampett they just ask "Is Portsmouth currently trading whilst insolvent as all evidence currently points to that being the case?". The level of wriggling after that question should be something to behold.
-
If they suggest a hashtag (a word beginning with # such as #pompey) then clicking on the hashtag will show all the tweets containing it or you can search for it https://twitter.com/#!/search/%23pompey. Otherwise if you search for Solents twitter id @solentsport you will see all their tweets and the ones directed at them : https://twitter.com/#!/search/%40solentsport

Thing is they do apparently have some money as AA said (Okay not the most reliable witness) that salaries would be paid this month. That means they are paying this months salaries ahead of 2 months worth of back taxes. Surely HRMC should attempt to get at that money now before it is paid to the players?
-
Suspect given the financial arguments against buying them there appear to be only a few reasons why someone would. 1) Illegal activity such as money laundering were you accept less money out than you put in. 2) Being a fan such as Brian Howe where you are more likely to let your heart rule your head. Think 1 may be drained dry so I would go for 2 as their only option.
-
I thought it was implied from some of the PN tweets from earlier that Cala had spilt the beans to the news? I assume the news took that info to AA so that he could give them his usual "Don't Panic Mr Mannering" quotes to go with it.
-
Or this one, especially for a certain pompey poster
-
Its easier to afford wages when you don't pay the tax apparently.

Two different interpretations of significant in one sentence there I think. As to admin not being on the cards.....
