It appears that HMRC have been in a position to push pompey over the edge for a while. You wonder if their failure to do so has to do with the ongoing football creditors rule court case as HMRC would get more money from pompey if HMRC won that compared to now?
-
As others have said we may have moved from a situation where its what makes him the most money as to how he can get out with a small a loss as possible.

-
Maybe he has one of these to hand, just in case?
-
The question is at what point does the sum of the parts become more valuable than the whole. He may keep them going but you can bet he will want it back. At what point does he think he might get more money from the assets on liquidation that from selling them as a running club?
-
Is it on ebay?
-
my guess is there are currently surviving on their share of the FA cup match against Chelsea
-
Never mind those confidentiality causes AA goes on about then? Or was there an 'unless a random person asks via email' get out clause?

Should the 10 million loaned from CSI be added that list? As they owe money to more than just chinny
-
Actually it's "Novel Nits" but a good try and using a word the league appears not to know gets you bonus points.
-
As we are talking deadlines and countdowns here is a conundrum for the league:
-
Remember some of Chinnys debt is with pompey not CSI (I think). North one are owed £3 so for them to have less that 25% of the debt chinny must be owed over £9 million by CSI and there to be no more creditors. Any reliable figures anywhere about what his debt from CSI actually is?
-
So Chinny who sold PFC to CSI and is owed money on that from AA the CSI administrator is buying pompey (surely the other creditors would complain if he was just given the one remaining CSI asset?) so that some of that money can go to him and some to North One? Unless he pays enough to cover both his debt from CSI and that of North One then CSI will only pay a certain amount in the pound? Question is what proportion of CSI debt is to chinny as from this thread long long ago we know that you need the agreement of a certain percentage of the debt holders to pass such an agreement. 'If' Chinny takes over its going to interesting to see how he deals with the other CSI debts that for certain.

Do they really think Richard Branson is going to buy their club?! I assume it would be renamed to "Virgin Ontherediculous" if that happened.
-
So JoCa needs £32 million pounds. One assume he is hoping they will accept about 2 billion shares in his company instead of cash?
-
Unless some more facts come to light before then its not going to be very interesting is it? Lots of don't knows or do know but can't tell. Still no official word on which group of chancers is in pole position, if any. Possibly a bit more entertainment can be obtained at the expense of JoCa but not a lot.
-
It does not mention HD in the press release so I am guessing that sky have decided to either not offer VM the HD version or, more likely, offer it at a price that they know VM will not pay. One assumes that Sky have spent quite a bit on the rights and want to use it like sky atlantic to drive people to buy satellite dishes.
-
Well given sky claim to be showing everything the grand prix includes the practice sessions and at least one will be on at 2am so there yaa boo sucks! Anyway exact time is irrelevant my point was that with the BBC cutbacks they will cover the races in around Europe mainly one would expect where there is little difference in time zone to the UK. So its likely that a fair number of the Sky only ones will be at times that are inconvenient to watch live, especially in a pub or the like.
-
Highly suspect that the formula 1TM grand prixTM that the BBC will show will be the ones close to home which are close to the UK time zone. Not sure how many pubs are going to open at 2am to show the japanese grand prixTM

Did not realise they were dedicating a whole new channel to it but I guess they are trying to screw with people who take sky sports 1 and 2 on BT vision etc. If they put it on sky sports 3 or 4 then they might get into trouble with ofcom as they previously said they would put the main sporting events on 1 and 2 (and once that was agreed and they were not forced to sell 3 or 4 they promptly moved some of the champions league over to them but putting F1 as well would possibly push things to far). Anyway good news for Virgin Media customers like wot I am is that VM are carrying it from the start as part of their sports package: http://mediacentre.virginmedia.com/Stories/Formula-1-fans-on-pole-with-Virgin-Media-and-Sky-Sports-F1-2328.aspx

In other changes AA Milne has been downgraded to A Milne and BB King is now Junk Status King.

Love how on that scale the stock is currently between zero and zero
