  1. The blue few appear to be pinning their hopes on the fact that at the moment CSI went into admin pompey was not their only company and that it was the situation at that point that is important not the current 1 to 1 relationship. Does anyone know if that has any basis in fact or is just wishful thinking?
  2. Would be quite funny to do for pompey what was done to Senator Santorum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campaign_for_"santorum"_neologism basically someone made up a new definition for his name, put it on a website and then got lots of people to link to it so it became the top result on google when you search for Santorum).
  3. someone on a pompey board obviously not quite got the point that the WRC rights have not been sold but taken away
  4. Odd that the best result for them today is probably a draw. Good chance a home replay would be on TV and all that nice non season ticket money.
  5. Sadly for pompeys finances, no.
  6. Actually NOS is what it is called in car circles where it is used for it effect of giving the engine a bit of a boost. Nitrous oxide, N2O, a gas commonly referred to as "nitrous" or "NOS" in vehicle racing
  7. One assumes it must have been NOS who were in breach of the contract for FIA to cancel it? Question about what happens to the money NOS paid for the rights. One assumes they are not going to get any of it back. Probably why the FIA appeared unhelpful as they could take advantage of NOS's financial situation to make sure NOS in breach so FIA keep that money and then they can sell the rights again to someone else. Nothing like getting paid twice for the same thing.
  8. In a word beginning with N....
  9. https://twitter.com/#!/peterbaert/status/155404542333288448 Apparently we have the incompetence of the FIA to thank for this latest turn of events: http://neil-hudson.blogspot.com/2012/01/statement-by-north-one-television-over.html
  10. No, its a direct admission he lied on SSN. In his interview on solent he said 7 to 10 days, it was his interview on SSN where he said 48 hours.
  11. One of the fencing finals. Obviously as soon as we got the tickets son decided to give up afterschool fencing but will force him to go anyway.
  12. Have they checked down the back of the sofa?
  13. Yes. If was about saints it would be in the main forum. Very organised here you know.
  14. I thought it was because they has slipped an hallucinogen into the water supply and were using subliminal messages via the lamppost banners to get people to attend?
  15. There is only one rule about "News on Friday".... there is never any news on Friday.
  16. and such a pity that their match against Chelsea is not being shown in TV, despite being played on Sunday. Still I am sure they will get a large turn out as sure many people will want to be able to say "I was there at pompey's last FA cup game ever".
  17. I put just the ipod in the padded envelope and put this in the bag and it has been accepted okay.
  18. You know those old "comedy connections" programs with graphs and things showing how various people interacted over time: I think we need something like that for pompey. you would not even have to change the title...
  19. With all the comings and going's I am not sure exactly how much pompey, not CSI, owe Chinny. As I remember it when they went into admin they owed a lot to chinny who got in as a preferred creditor and ended up basically owning pompey. At that point as well as him owning them did new pompey plc owe chinny any money? He then sold pompey to CSI. Admittedly on installments but the ownership changed to CSI and the money owed to chinny for the purchase was from CSI not PFC. That is why Chinny put the charge on CSI when it started to become apparent that the guarantee from Snoros might as well have had perforations. So at that point how much money was owed to Chinny by pompey? Since then it appears he may have been lending pompey more money to keep going but its not going to be that much in the grand scheme of things. It could be that you are overestimating the debt that new pompey plc, which is what is being sold, has to chinny.
  20. You know what we are back to...? AA says news in 24 to 48 yours.. Which takes us to FRIDAY. Yes its back to expecting some news from pompey on a Friday and probably not getting it.
  21. But would those payments come out of their parachute payments like their other football debts or was that arrangement only for football debts from before they went into administration?
  22. Would not hold your breath about when the replacement will come as sent mine in about the 25th november. They claim it arrived 15th December (indicating I suspect at least a weeks backlog just opening the packages) and has been sitting at the "Waiting replacement" stage since then.
  23. More that talking to solent he was saying 7 to 10 days till some news and now talking to SSN only slightly later he is saying 48 hours till new owners announced. That's quite a large change in such a short time. Especially when in the solent interview he implied several things still in progress before an agreement could be reached.
  24. Wonder if the interview with solent was some sort of hurry up ploy as the timings for announcing something have shrunk dramatically between the solent interview and the one for SSN?
  25. That's not what AA implies though is it...
