I seen him play in each of our games so far (albeit from afar) and he has looked pretty good but nothing spectacular. Probably what you'd expect for 2 million squid these days. I'd have him with either Fonte or Hoiveld, and at the moment preferably Fonte.

Can someone help me out please? I used to be a regular PSTer but haven't been keeping up to date with this thread since the season started really. The last time I checked up the Trust were the only interested party and things were looking pretty bad. Chanrai was temporarily out of the picture, Birch was making and breaking deadlines, Appleton crying over how unfair everything was "We need to start buying, the league must gift us some top premier league players and pay their wages" etc, the fans coming up with the same usual "it's not our fault" mantra. How much has changed?

Is it only me who thinks the picture gallery on the OS is **** also? Small pictures, ages to load. Our new website is probably worse in every way than the previous one! At least the team are giving us something to smile about.

He pulled so many strings throughout the game there were no more strings left to be pulled. We are going to enjoy watching him in our shirt, let's hope it'll be for at least a season. Probably won't be able to hang onto him after that as he is clearly close to world class, if not already there.

Yoshida did look good last night against UAE, but that's the only time I've seen him play. Fonte has been fantastic for us since he signed and I'd hesitate to say anything negative about him, but if Yoshida does prove to be better, then stick him in the team. But I don't believe Fonte should be dropped just because we've signed a new defender... Yoshida will have to earn his place in the side IMO.

The kit hasn't changed has it? It's still class. To those saying "it's not Southampton"... I think you'll find that's exactly what it is.

obviously gutting but so many positives it's almost hard to be that angry. two good goals, clyne looks absolutely class, front three of puncheon, lallana and lambert looks very dangerous. davis and morgan did well. odd substitutions from nigel and poor defending cost us the game. ho hum. very impressed once again with saints though.

Every time I try watching anything on sopcast the picture quality is always fantastic, but the sound and video always play in sloooow motion. so a game would take me about 4/5 hours to watch through. any idea what I'm doing wrong? I can watch good quality streams so I don't think it's my internet connection (which, admittedly, isn't the best)

Haha! absolutely agree on many levels. All the bloke did was say a player wouldn't sign for us!

The new website makes me want to cry. Great news for this site though as I bet a lot come on here to check the news now rather than go on the OS.

Has been great in our rise to the top, would be a great signing for Charlton to increase their promotion hopes.

Would be fantastic if we signed him on loan.
