  1. Brilliant. Let's sing "He sometimes works as a guard" if rhyming is all that counts then.
  2. I was in the knitting circle and could tell it was what you've written above. No idea why Frank Lampard gets a mention though. Weird.
  3. I'm sure he does get a free ticket, but even if he had to pay I don't think he'd have a problem with it. He seems like a very reasonable guy.
  4. Not really no. It's actually very impressive and will be much better than SMS when it's finished. The roof is cack though. It's too high and slopes up, allowing all the rain in onto the supporters. Clever.
  5. The rest of your post may be right about Lambert possibly wanting to leave, but this point above you're not. The days of "wasting 5/10million" on any old rubbish are gone (for now). Just look at the last transfer window. Very few clubs have the liquid cash to make big signings, and 3 million is a lot to a Prem club now, especially on a player who's never even played in the Championship. If Lambert does go, it'll be to a Championship club, but IMO he'll stay.
  6. Chez definitely does need her/his eyes testing, but I can see her point as Fonte did make a meal of it. Wasn't a dive though. He was tripped. In fact, he deserves a great deal of praise for winning the penalty. His skill to get into that position was brilliant, especially coming from a centre back. Talking of centre backs, Seaborne today looked completely lacking in confidence and played the long/hoof ball every single time he got possession - something we're not used to recently with Fonte, Jaidi and Perry having reasonably good distribution most of the time. It was like having Lancashire back in the team. Hoping he'll improve with time though. Just seen Lamberts third on the tele. It looks better on there than it did at the game.
  7. Agree, strange atmosphere and a strange game. We were pretty poor at times but we never looked in any danger of losing the game or even conceding a goal really. Lamberts 3rd was wonderful, and Only one Luke Chadwick was very amusing. Speaking to a Mkdonalds fan afterwards he said how he thought Saints canceled MK Dons out in the middle of the park, which is exactly what I think they did to us. So the majority of the game was just a stalemate. Didn't feel like a 3-0 game at all, but bloody glad it was.
  8. So, (for someone who hasn't been following this week) why the wait now in the Premier League deducting the points? I thought they were just waiting for the HMRC court case, which obviously never happened. Anyone know the reason for the delay?
  9. Not me, I think they're being sent out today.
  10. I watched it online, and you guys didn't miss anything. They showed only the goal and the disallowed goal, followed by Grayson talking about Leeds. They didn't mention Saints once.
  11. Such a satisfying victory today, especially considering we effectively played against 12 men for 90 minutes. Puncheon was my MOTM, Fonte close second, Morgan third. Ref? Well, lol. Glad we can laugh at his performance which thankfully didn't affect the result.
  12. I don't think anyone was even considering that. Would never happen.
  13. Where did you hear that?
  14. Got mine online after what seemed like endless refreshing. At one point I thought it was never going to connect, so hang in there guys.
  15. Something like this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Red-and-White-Scarf-Wally-Waldo_W0QQitemZ180476442692QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAdult_Fancy_Dress_UK?hash=item2a053bf844 (home knitted! Can't get any better than that, surely? ) Failing that: http://www.footballheaven.net/acatalog/Red_and_White_Scarf.html
  16. I agree. Thankfully though I don't think many of those people will have been able to get their hands on tickets. It won't go to unrestricted general sale, like they have at Carlisle.
  17. I know 5 people who are going and this will be their second game of the season. The first being the Skates game. They're there to support Saints and they'll join in with the songs, but they're no way hardcore supporters. They wouldn't come and see us play Hartlepool on a Tuesday night for example. I think a lot of fans like that will be at Wembley, but they're more than welcome as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Looks almost certain that we'll sell out tomorrow. I can't believe we've sold so many, so quickly. It's going to be a cracking day.
  19. I actually think our current home shirt is one of the best in a long time. You get used to the flybe patch, which I agree, is poor.
  20. It doesn't work online anymore. They've taken the option down.
  21. Could you tell me the 01271 number please?
  22. Now they've taken the Wembley section offline. Just missed it.
  23. Yeah. This is what I was trying to say but in fewer and more poorly constructed words/sentences. Thanks.
  24. Especially to then have to sit in what can only be described as 'a health hazard'.
