yes they did but that was the season they had 5 managers. holloway was just unfortunate enough to have been there at the end.

I know this post was a long time ago, but I just wanted to pick up on it to point out how strongly I disagree with it. He made it look like he had played there all his life. Wasn't he close to MOTM for the final on here?

Would love it if he returned but I can't see it happening in a million years.

Can't believe anyone thinks these are official designs. Look at the shorts!!!!!

Reading friendly at St Mary's - 31st July 2010

It's clearly going to be a great season -
Agree with this. No idea why it was done, surely the money could be spent improving the site or if the site is perfect then I'm sure a charity would appreciate the money.
-
morgan was definitely there
-
i enjoy a bit of toblerone
-
I saw some great tackles too. What makes me laugh is the thought that these stewards are just normal blokes like you or I who have full time jobs, and when asked what they got up to at the weekend they will reply with "oh you know, did a bit of shopping, rugby tackled a few chavs, not much" good on you stewards today

i'm another who totally agrees that the announcements were very patronising and completely unnecessary. not sure about the argument about "should the coppers have taken more action", don't really mind or care. but i agree with the OP when he says the announcements would be seen as incitement to some mindless idiots. there was no threat or hostility at all at the ground, the fans were even clapping eachother... why test the patience of those who we all know aren't very bright, by going way over the top with warnings?
-
lol, now that's just not true is it? never happy? it's been a great season, i'm pretty happy.
-
no. the fans in the stadium also disapproved of you and your friend's little outing onto the pitch. bet it was well wicked though mush innit?
-
than, not that
-
that announcer is an absolutely moron. did you hear him at the end? "despite the minor pitch incursion, i will not hold that against you, and will allow the players to come back out onto the pitch"... since when do announcers make big decisions like that? patronising *****. about the invaders, i think the average age of that lot (about 150 people for those who weren't there) was no higher that 17 so it's not too embarrassing. still pretty pathetic though.
-
I'm so sick of hearing news stories about that disgusting lot. I just want them to die, now.
-
I agree that f*** off pompey would have been better, but only an idiot would have thought that it was the skates singing when we sang pay up pompey. They shut up so ****ing quickly when we sang that at them, and listening back when watching the highlights it was obviously not the skates singing. Still, it gives Stu a chance to make a few digs at fellow fans so at least he's happy.
-
he's not a miserable tit. he's the biggest goon on this forum. this season's been crackin'
-
Not if the majority of fans believe him to have performed best over the course of the season. Don't get me wrong, I love Lambert more than it's ok for a man to love another man, but I don't think Harding has played one poor game for us this season. There have been games (very few) where Lambert has been invisible.
-
also, can a mod please tell me why I'm only a Registered user now? Thank you.
-
Harding for me also. Consistently brilliant.
-
Otsemobor. No really 8-[
-
I'd say yes you're definitely alone in thinking Harding is a weak point. Behind Lambert, he's been our player of the season. Best left back in League 1 I reckon.
-
next season i think it might look something like this davis an other fonte jaidi harding lallana hammond schneiderlin antonio barnard lambert subs: wotton, wotton, wotton, wotton, wotton, lloyd james, lancashire
-
fair post, but hahaha at this

What do P****y owe us £35 thousand for?

I'm pretty sure we gave them tickets for the cup game without charging them.
