Yeah, loved reading BS. Hope it can come back one day.

Fancy making a special edition Beautiful South for this game Daren? With 28,000 Saints fans there I reckon you'd make a killing!
-
Is anyone else excited simply for the first goalkick and a huge... "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YOU SKATE BASTARD"?
-
Wow. What an incredible draw. I shouted at the top of my voice as the number one was read out first whilst driving up the M3. We've got nothing to lose. Even if Pompey beat us, which they may well do quite easily, it won't matter. We'll still have a brilliant evening mocking them - we'll come out on top whatever the result. This is the very reason we don't want Portsmouth to go out of business however. You can't beat this sort of excitement. There is nothing better than a derby game. Can't bloody wait.

I think I'd actually be offended by that attendance as a traveling Sunderland fan at Fratton today. This is why they are fully deserving of the **** they're currently going through.

He did alright, was nice to see him get a good reception. His attitude was spot on and he chased everything with some success. I like him, but not sure I'd put him in our starting 11 if it was up to me.
-
Oh, and Lancashire played fine. He did nothing wrong. Good to see Gillett get a good reception too.

Mills was by far the best player for us, Wotton was very good, Jaidi class, what a great cup tie
-
Mills was absolutely brilliant today. Glad others spotted it too. I've been really impressed with him over the last two games.
-
Is that official or rumour?

Solid. Calm on the ball and doesn't hoof it when he collects from the back. Could have scored also, he did well but just shot wide.

Wimbledon play in Kingston Upon Thames, not MK Dons. They're no longer the same team.

Wimbledon vs Saints - First Half & Half-Time Chat

I don't think we're a shocking team but we certainly play some shocking football at times. Tonight has been very frustrating so far, if we were playing well we'd be 5-0 up. We're winning though, which is all that matters. Let's hope we can step it up in the second half and build on our lead. -

Savage made an absolute fool of himself in that original interview. He sounded like a broken record. Fair play to the journo who could have crumbled under the pressure of a well known professional footballer issuing direct criticism at him live on air, but didn't. Savage avoided all the questions and I'd be embarrassed if I was a Derby fan listening to our captain saying those things.

I assume Pompey are so desperate to get the ban lifted so they can bring in loan players? Because they sure as hell don't have the money to actually buy anyone!
-
Not necessarily, it's always good to have a back-up plan in case things don't go as hoped.
-
Ouch. Being called an idiot by alpine. That's actually hurts! Have a nice evening mate, don't let the football get you down too much.
-
It's probably because those fans are using a little bit of perspective. Usually, if you draw away games and win your home games (which we have been doing) then that brings success. A point away from home is rarely a bad result, especially against a team who have only lost once at home all season and conceeded only 7 goals. I don't think you'll find too many jumping around in celebration with a point, especially after giving away the lead, but you certainly shouldn't find many slashing their wrists over it (apart from a few on here).
-
Don't let it put you off mate. Give it a day and they'll have put their razor blades away, ready for the next game.
-
I know this is hypothetical, but what if it was Fonte who slipped up which led to the goal? Or maybe a gust of wind changed the direction of the ball into the path of the Millwall player? Would that be down to Pardew simply because he is paid a lot?
-
The funny thing is, if we hadn't made one little mistake at the end we'd have won the game and it quite possibly may have been because of Pardews substitutions! But because we didn't win, suddenly it's all Pardews fault and his subs were dreadful. Fickle fickle fickle.
-
for those who don't know what happened. Lambert scored in the last minute, only for Millwall to equalise with almost the last kick. I'm not too downbeat, after all I was expecting it to finish 0-0, then with one click of the refresh button it was 1-1! Gutting that we didn't hang on, but it sounded very much like we'd lose today, so a point is ok.

Got my three tickets today. The girl in the ticket office thinks they'll sell out when they go on general sale. Looking forward to the four pub crawl.

We'd never get Holt but wouldn't want him anyway. Poor mans Rickie Lambert.
