That whole move summed him up. Off side anyway, tried to control it with his right but missed it, made the ball but a powder puff of a shot.

Aside from that we’ve been fine! It really was a good first 15 minutes followed by an absolute lesson for the next 30. As someone else said, I hope this is Selles’ choice of lineup because it’s just not going to work. If we come out for the second half with that line up this could get ugly quite quickly. Hopefully the World Cup players will go easy on us….

We are completely overrun in midfield. Our midfield is basically a bunch of players who are all running towards their own goal in an effort to get back behind the play.

Perraud could’ve stopped that attack before it started, he completely fluffed it though. Fair play, Saints are giving it a go. But the gulf in class is massive.

Get in!! Terrific delivery.

Crap goalkeeping tbf.

Usually find that when the OS lists the team, the order is accurate to what the formation will be. It could be a 3 at the back, but I reckon more like it is actually DCC at RB and a version of 4-2-2-2. So, not ideal. I was hoping he’d make central midfield more competitive by going with 3 CMs in there but I think we can view this as a Selles team.

I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth.

How many more ‘look at me’ posts does SOG need Ffs? Such a boring, whining troll.

Knock yourselves out.

I seem to recall the original loan had interest of something huge like 9% pa, so not really a surprise you’d want to get lower than that!

Athletic supposedly reporting that Ralph is going.

Been flying home today so thankfully didn’t get to see the game. Seems like the performance of the forum is nearly as bad as the first team.

Saints, fact. You can stroll about the Heef in your saints shirt totally unchallenged guaranteed.

Swanwick and Park Gate are Saints, fact. Segensworth is where it starts getting dodgy.

I feel like I want to cry when I watch most of our games.

I’m assuming 1 is the worst and 12 is the best. It’s the only way your list makes any sense.

I know it’s an old post but I’m always fairly surprised to read this type of thing. Then I have to remember that dyed-in-the-wool Tory voters are fairly entrenched in their positions. This approach of ‘but Labour’ has risen further and further as the main Tory attack line of recent months: ‘The asylum system is broken, we’ve had 12 years to fix it and we’ve only made it worse, but Labour have no plan to fix it’. And ‘‘The economy is broken, Trussonomics was a disaster, but Labour want to get everybody on strike and they supported a longer lockdown’. It’s an approach that gains traction with the blue base. As does the “he doesn’t know what a woman is’ diversion tactics. But I think opinion polls are showing that people are seeing through all the lies and bluster. I don’t know whether Labour will be better for the UK, but I honestly find it difficult to comprehend how they might be worse for the working people.

Anyone who thought Lavia was going to play every game is living in cloud cuckoo land. He’s 18 and playing in one of the most combative areas of the pitch. He was always going to get knocks and likely suffer drops in form, just like Tino did. Diallo isn’t anywhere near a replacement and I’m yet to be convinced AMN is either. So while the injury is unfortunate, it hardly needed Nostradamus to suggest that Lavia could/should be sat out from a number of games through the season.

It was exactly this, utter nonsense to say his legs had gone. He was playing in a 2 man midfield and playing 90 minutes every week because we had no-one else anywhere nearly good enough to replace him.

Because in essence MLG is good people. I hope he starts posting again because he’s good value, and he shares lots of insights. He pulls people up when they spout rubbish; on the flip side he also gets called up himself when he spouts nonsense or gets things wrong. Thats to be expected, it’s a forum. If MLG is having a self-imposed exile (apart from a litany of confused emojis) then good on him, it’s his choice. Don’t get all jelly just because nobody would miss you not posting Chaz.

Well he isn't "the best", is he? We managed to afford Danny Ings in the same window as Adams, and I know which one was (and probably still is) better for Saints. Previously Adams was, quite rightly, the second striker to someone better. Now he's our primary striker and that situation just isn't good enough.
