  1. I think I read it somewhere, it might have been The Windmill Diaries, but sure I read that for Mick football was always his job whereas racing was his love.
  2. Channnnnnnnnoooooooooonnnnn……..you won’t see a better goal than that this season! That was marvellous!
  3. Don’t know why I’m bothering to do this. Vote if you want. Or don’t. I don’t care. Ralph out please.
  4. Let’s not go overboard. I can think of at least two games from earlier this season that we’re worse than that…
  5. AMN would be an obvious candidate, though I reckon Saints have done an agreement with him to not play him there. Payne is on the bench and, given Lyanco’s performance so far, I’m wondering if he would have done any worse.
  6. We are so utterly terrible to watch. And shit, too.
  7. I think he’s saying that Saints fans are allowed their views, but if they have certain views about someone who is no longer associated with the club then they should go and support a different football team. Maybe it makes sense to him, I’m not sure I understand the logic of it myself.
  8. Hope so. Got this horrible feeling that Crazy Charlie thinks that’s his name and hasn’t realised his, erm, heritage.
  9. Accurate report said Johnson had 59, Porky Penny 26. Zahawi has already switched. Don’t think the diving wardrobe gets to 100.
  10. Beautiful from the corrupt and utter cunt Nadhim Zahawi. At 9pm tonight. Just a few short minutes later.
  11. We can’t, she’s said she’s going to run as she thinks the members deserve it. She likely won’t get to 100 though.
  12. Her hangover tomorrow is going to be absolutely monumental.
  13. I’ve seen plenty of Arsenal fans whinging about the physicality of our defence (and that the ref let them get away with it). Good.
  14. I feel for him a bit. Well, a lot. Yes, his quality is perhaps not there, but he’s a striker who looks like he would benefit playing regularly in a two off someone like a Lambert or a Pelle (a striker who has the creative ability to drop deep, turn, and spot a run through the lines). Che Adams isn’t that, Broja wasnt really that, and Armstrong will struggle to make something from nothing on his own. He’s playing out of position and giving it his all, but I don’t think goals are going to come for him while playing where he does. Like you say, Edozie seems to have a bit more about him in terms of creativity, though AA’s workrate has been what’s kept him there.
  15. A game of two halves!
  16. What on earth has happened to our hard press? Completely gone. Now we just stand off and let the passes and crosses just come in. Weak all over.
  17. Weak start so far.
  18. Good luck and all the best to him, he’s doing very well at Burnley. The step down a level helps. Also, at that level, Burnley are a good side and he’s surrounded by players who are often better than their peers. He’s also being played to his strengths, wide left/right in a 4-3-3. In pre season we played him as a central striker, which was mad. Playing wide in a 4-2-2-2 / 4-2-3-1 isn’t ideal for him imo, hence why he struggled with us. He’s showing he’s a valuable player at that level, if we go down then we’ve got him, if we stay up then he may have earned a chance, and if it’s a different manager with a different team shape it may suit him more.
  19. Dan Hodges is more often than not a tory lickspittle so perhaps some truth in these.
  20. This Tory party member seems like he *might* have factored in Sunak’s skin colour when thinking about who to vote for.
