Agree with Badger. I’m not convinced on all our summer signings and the wisdom of investing so much in youth. The non Man City players (Lavia aside) seem to be our best signings; don’t know if Shields was involved with them or not, but they’re not exactly hidden gems. I agree the timing is terrible though, especially with the club bigging up the whole investment in youth mantra.
