Tommy Robinson “could face jail” after screening a documentary against high court orders at a demonstration in central London on Saturday, according to the anti-racism group Hope Not Hate. The film, Silenced, repeated false claims he made about a Syrian refugee that led to him losing a libel case in 2021. Robinson is due to appear at a high court hearing on Monday accused of contempt of court for making the documentary. Nick Lowles of Hope Not Hate wrote on X: “Tommy Robinson is currently screening the film Silenced in Trafalgar Square, just 48 hours before he appears in the High Court accused of breaking an injunction preventing him from releasing the film.. He’s heading to jail. “The Attorney General’s office have been made aware of Tommy Robinson screening a film he was banned from showing. Such a flagrant disregard for the law could well see him facing the maximum two-year sentence. Only himself to blame.” Edit. From what I gather, the doc isn’t banned, as such. But Robinson/Yaxley-Lennon lost his libel case and a condition of the outcome was that he didn’t repeat the accusations made. Which he’s obviously done.

I keep hearing this but, aside from his distribution skills which are very good, I’m yet to see much in his glovesmanship which would elevate him above a mid level Championship level keeper. Young keepers will make mistakes but the really good ones (I.e. Premier League quality) consistently make saves where you think “how has he saved that?”. Those types of saves just haven’t happened with any sort of accumulation for Baz, either in the Premier League or the Championship. I’ve rarely thought “what a shame Baz made that mistake because he was having a top notch game up to then”.

This has been dreadful but to be fair the Venga Boat has rescued it somewhat.
