Depends on what level of the Championship you’re talking about. Personally I wasn’t all that disappointed when he got injured last season and it forced us to play bendy and THB for much of the season. Cant deny Stephens did ok when he came back in later in the season but I thought we were a better team with two centre backs not three, and he was the third (in my opinion).

That maybe true but I can see the likes of Bednarek, Sulemana, Aribo and Tall Paul going abroad. Reckon THB will have no bother getting a PL side to pick him up, if not for a starting spot. In other news, what on earth was the Gronbaek signing about? Hes even lesser spotted than Ross Stewart.

Wembley playoffs was brilliant. Definitely the most exciting way to go up, if not the most convincing. It very quickly went to shit but if you can’t enjoy a Wembley win, whatever the competition, something is a bit awry.

I agree mostly, but they’re not even that cheap when you add up transfer fee / signing fee / loan fee and wages for nearly double figures of players. It’s just obscene how much we have wasted. A complete and utter catastrophe of a summer recruitment policy.
