  1. Name change to fullofshit
  2. Jamie DellDays' salty blue tears really are something to behold, bless him 🤣
  3. It’s a beauty. I picked up a few bottles myself from Costco last week, decent little saving compared to standard supermarket prices.
  4. Maybe they did it 😬
  5. Hopefully she wasn’t in the car when the rock got chucked. If she wasn’t in the car though, I wonder how they knew the car was owned by a brown person. Crafty lot these far right loonies.
  6. Quite interesting to see the Chapel Kop and where they’ve segregated from the away end. I wonder if theyll sell seats right up to the stairwell or if more often than not they’ll put netting over the narrow column of seats in the Chapel. Cant really make out the Kingsland segregation. Edit. I’m an idiot, that must be the netting itself. NVM.
  7. Of course she did and much more, she was a mother at 16 then a granny at 37. She knows her way around does big Ange 😍
  8. I drove down Portswood high street an hour ago, very quiet with a lot of shops putting their shutters up. The local councillor has spoken to police, they’ve got officers deployed until early morning but are relaxed that the Portswood bit of it will be minor at worst (they monitor social media and aside from a handful of boastful claims from some anonymous accounts there’s nothing of substance to suggest anything will happen).
  9. Firstly no. I'm not sure why you keep saying "the left" as if its a complete homogenous blob of what "they" wanted during COVID. Personally I never locked down at all, kept going to work every day as I was in an industry that had around 50% of it that was exempt from WFH. And I remain very thankful that was the case, I'd have hated to WFH full time or even worse go on furlough and sit around doing eff all. As for your other point, yes its easy to be wise after the event. Its also why there's a very detailed enquiry that highlight sincere deficiencies even given what we know in hindsight. Not everything the tories did was bad during lockdown, especially during the very early days when the learning curve was massive. But Sunak introducing this scheme without input from the health secretary and his many senior advisers should be called out for the extremely bad call it was; calling it Sunak "doing well" is quite a remarkable statement really.
  10. You mean the Eat Out scheme that was not properly run through senior advisers, the scheme which chief medical officer Sir Chris Whitty referred to as "eat out to help out the virus", and which Sir Patrick Vallance said was "highly likely" to have fuelled considerable extra deaths? That was Rishi doing well, was it? I'd hate to see what you thought he did badly.
  11. Twas ever thus.
  12. I'd get the fire engines out and give them a fucking good soaking.
  13. I heard (not sure if true) that there's another one planned from the Mitre in Portswood heading towards town. Highfield Hotel supposedly boarded up.
  14. Edozie looks like he wants to take it off already.
  15. He wasn't always this much of a cunt, was he? I mean, he was always (somehow) a bit of a pompous bellend and obviously not the brightest star in the sky. Seems to have gone full off the reservation lately. If Orange Don doesn't get elected there will proper tantrums all over Bursledon. Twat.
  16. I watched ten minutes of it yesterday, load of rubbish. Just a bunch of teenagers being all stoked and awesome and super happy to be there. Surfing as well, they're holding it 10,000 miles away in Tahiti ffs. Its a bit like London 2012 having sheepdog trials based in the Falklands.
  17. IMO there's too many Olympic sports that shouldn't be there, or at least not in their current formats. For a sport to get in the Olympics, winning it should be seen as the pinnacle of that sport. Tennis: 4 Majors held every year, all dating way back. The Olympics is quite big but not as much as those. Davis Cup also provides a team aspect for playing for your country. Golf: See above re the 4 Majors. The positive of the Olympics is that it lets the players play for their countries rather than themselves, which there is limited opportunity for in pro golf. But if golf is going to be in there I think it should be more of a team format, maybe two-player teams where they do separate rounds of two-man scramble; two-man better ball; two-man foursomes; two-man best overall gross score. Other sports like football, all a bit rubbish having that. The under-23 things (except three others who can be overaged) is just a bit of a nonsense. Horse dancing can just get in the bin as well.
  18. Decent in the Championship for us but the harsh reality I feel is that he’s not good enough for us in the Premier League, certainly as a starting player. He actually only started 13 league games for us last term, 26 on as sub. We’ve already got Edozie, Sulemana and Sam Amo, plus Armstrong was better off the right than up front and Chilean Ben plays up front / off the left. In short, he did a good job for us last season but we need better if we’re to stay up.
  19. A crap shirt with a horrendous stick-on logo just got even shitter with an even worse additional stick-on logo. Well done, design team. Effing useless the lot of you.
  20. When you write it like that it makes it even more of a mockery that we paid £10M+ for him. Simply not a fee that club like us can afford to spend on somebody who is so far away from a first team start.
  21. I regret nothing 😤 You couldn’t even get her name right ffs 🤣
  22. Laura’s a national gem but fuck me, her voice doesn’t half grate.
  23. Just been reading about the press conference, it sounds like it went well and cleared everything up! 😆 "I attended this IBA news conference. It was so bad that the moderator apologized to a few of us reporters out on the sidewalk after and said it was the most embarrassing thing he’s ever been part of." "I've never been to such a farcical press conference. It's been a shambles. Any credibility concerning these failed gender tests is very quickly evaporating." "Kremlev is being asked if he regrets or will apologise for calling Thomas Bach the “chief sodomite”. He goes off into a bizarre rant about Biblical scripture, which is now translated on the live stream. He replies: “When I said sodomite, I meant Thomas Bach and those who made this declaration. They have been making fun of Christiantity and the Bible. In scripture, Sodom and Gomorrah existed and God destroyed these cities because they had no human value in them. As president of an international federation and a firm believer in god, and a person defending human values and democracy I couldn’t keep silent. And this opening was arranged and designed by Thomas Bach and his friends. He did it in order to improve his PR status. As a Christian, believing in god, I disagree with this presentation of the scripture. And I would never like to see that happening again in the sport.”
  24. Champions: Man City (zzzzzzzzz) CL: Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Saints: 19th Relegated: Forest, Saints, Ipswich
  25. So basically we’ve got a bit worse at right back, a bit better at left back, and everything else is exactly the same. Not inspiring.
