  1. Well, I feared a Gillingham and it’s definitely not that. I like that our nippers seem quite fearless. They’ve made their share of mistakes but it’s been largely positive, looking to pass and get forward quickly and effectively. Not particularly expecting any of these to break the first team immediately. But a decent showing at least that our reserves give a little bit more of a shit than their counterparts did this time last year.
  2. A bit from column A, a bit from column B for me Clive. Also need to remember that we’re playing against Cardiff reserves here.
  3. That’s just a lovely move.
  4. That’s what I thought, Dibling just let him go. Good shot and doubt a keeper would save it but Lumley was absolutely nowhere to even try.
  5. He’s no Jack Grealish but Tyler Dibling has got some calves on him. Phwooooar 😍
  6. Gonna be eye opening. I fear a Gillingham repeat.
  7. Dan Hodges, the barometer of sense 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fucking LOL 🤣 dear oh fucking Lord 🤣
  8. Yep. BBC reporting on it, one hotel are claiming “technical error”. Just a coincidence that the prices have gone up by £300… https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c935v1kkzjvo
  9. He certainly seems to have taken his election defeat very, very badly.
  10. Russ Martin has shown us in two consecutive games that his priority for those has been to have 3 CBs on the pitch. I think it's going to be his thing that he won't let go of easily. Against Newcastle, once they had a man off it was Sugawara that made way, not a centre back. Martin's logic was that he wanted Edozie as a genuine wide player in there instead of Suga pushing forward on the right and KWP doing his thing filling in midfield. We dominated possession but didn't do much with it. Against Forest, again the 3 CBs for all game until we went 1 down then switched out THB for a midfielder. I genuinely think Martin painted himself into a corner by naming Stephens skipper then loaning THB back at the start of last season. When Stephens is fit Martin can't bear to drop either of THB, Stephens or Janny B. Martin has said this himself on a number of occasions, he wants to find a system to play them all as all three "deserve to be on the pitch".
  11. I heard on the radio this morning, hotels around the country have already ratcheted their prices way way up for nights around the tour dates. Some international chain hotels in Cardiff and I believe Glasgow charging around £500 a night, the worst was Edinburgh Holiday Inn Express who are apparently charging £1299 for 2 nights.
  12. First saw Oasis at Bournemouth, 5 days after what’s the story was released. Absolutely brilliant. I loved their earlier albums. Next saw them at City of Manchester Stadium quite a few years later. Loads of scrapping going off with pissed up dickheads in the crowd, just a terrible concert atmosphere with even Liam giving it verbals from the stage for them to pack it in. Def won’t bother with these, apparently Liam’s reviews for his latest concerts have been scathing. And as Noel said: “Timing is everything. Even if we were to come back now, it would be just like a heritage kind of thing. It could never be the same.”
  13. I just hope Sue bought her keyring and I trust it really wound up as many people as she expected it would. Sue plays football. Drinks beer too. She doesn’t mention it very often though.
  14. His missus has got a couple of good things about her. https://www.instagram.com/elliejenas/?hl=en-gb
  15. That part I definitely agree with him. 100%. I’m probably a rare Saints fan who thinks he was good for us and the stick he took was massively unjustified for the player he was, for us, for other clubs, and for England. Other parts, he’s a fucking loon.
  16. The ramblings of a mad man tbf.
  17. 😆 I don’t know. They taste of eggs! You can’t help what you don’t like.
  18. Thats usually Christmas morning breakfast.
  19. It sounds like the EU are open to it. The Tories rejected a blanket EU arrangement out of hand earlier this year, and Labour said they weren’t onboard with the idea either. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68848046
  20. On the face it, this is a valid concern to raise. Where I’d question voting leave because of it is, how many people could point to actual individual EU laws passed that they have problems with? Otherwise it’s just a “it seems bad” feeling. Provide a list of EU laws that got through that are bad and got through solely because we didn’t have enough power to hold Brussels to account. Then it becomes a proper debate.
  21. You poor man. Poached or scrambled eggs on toast is a banging breakfast, have that at least once a week.
