  1. Brilliant!! PDT: "Come on then, we're well up for this". PKF: "Erm, yeah, we're not really. Can we have another 31 days to think about it??"
  2. Micah Hall ‏@blueballoo2000 The fight back starts here. The pst have overcome every obstacle - even yesterday's curveball. Rory McKeown ‏@pn_Rory_McKeown Fans in #Pompey shirts in court Dan Brett ‏@DanBrett90 Trust are in doggish mood today - up for battle.
  3. Hell yes!!
  4. Neil Allen‏@pn_neil_allen Court packed today. Fairly empty yesterday
  5. *gets popcorn and settles in *
  6. That's what GeoEye want you to believe. It could just as easily have been manipulated...
  7. De Ridder can run really fast, he'll do. You and I both know the correct answer is really Jonno Quick though. What a great opportunity for the lad.
  8. That's the problem. There really is no viable alternative. Given that I'd rather keep the rest of the team shape at its optimum and just make a change in one position. But it'll be JRod, for sure.
  9. In fact, we've had a blue away kit almost as much as we've had a yellow one.
  10. More than once, in fact.
  11. That would be an enormous waste of our most creative player. Judging by his display against Reading I don't think it would work.
  12. Can't come soon enough. Whether Matt Phillips or whoever else we're looking at is good enough, we'll see. I remember all too well the struggles we had in the lower leagues when Lallana was unavailable. I can see it being a problem again. And it kind of shift our priorities somewhat, we now need to spend big in midfield as well as at the back and in goal.
  13. Well that's us f*cked then. We literally have no-one else who can play (adequately) at LM. Ramirez was out of sorts there, Rodriguez does OK defensively but bugger all going forwards, Fox isn't the answer and neither is Guly. Mayuka on the right and Puncheon on the left? I think not, no. We are a bit f*cked.
  14. In a simlar vein to the Pompey supporting Dad in this thread, this pic made me smile.
  15. Apart from clearly lacking in a great deal of intelligence, he's also got a desperately annoying voice and a gratingly weird accent. Kind of a hybrid of Yam Yam and Northern that has developed with a southern inflexion, its altogether a rather distasteful combination. The stuttering bumbling pr*ck.
  16. Bump. Predictably, and shamefully enough, UEFA show yet again just how seriously they take the whole issue of racist abuse in the game. Serbia get a £65,000 fine; £15,000 less than Niklas Bentdner got for showing the tops of his pants during Euro 2012. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20718693 F*ck off UEFA, you useless shower of c*nts.

Hmmmm. Not sure how I feel about that.
  18. Rather surprisingly, Sheff Wed never had an average attendance over 30,000 in any of their Prem seasons from 1992-2000. In fact their highest average was only 28,700. Other seasons saw between 25k and 27K.

Yep, been watching it all along. I'm predicting Anton to win, the bird second and Ollie third.
  20. Villa's lowest gate this season is almost as low as ours; 28,692 against Reading. Their highest; 40,538 against Man Utd.
  21. Neil Allen‏@pn_neil_allen When my colleague @pn_Rory_McKeown asked to speak to Portpin they declined to comment. Shame. #Pompey Yes Neil, I can't believe they refused to speak to a pair of journalists who have displayed no element of objectivity in the past 12 months, and whipped up a frenzy of frothing rage against Portpin's charge over the ground and their intent to gain what they deem as a fair return from their investment.
  22. It is quite interesting (well I think it is anyway, others probably don't) how much disparity there is between the most popular games and the least popular one. This game, Man Utd and Spurs all sold out at least 2 weeks prior to kick off. Yet Fulham (28K), Norwich and Fulham (just over 29K) having significant areas unsold. Its a bit of a guess but against the top sides we could perhaps sell at least 38,000 tickets, which is 10,000 more than the least popular games. I wonder if other clubs our size and bigger experience that sort of disparity.
  23. You assume they were looking in the first place. They're all for due diligence, but only when it suits. The anyone but Chainrai brigade were happy to wave this one through without so much as a break of sweat from the investigative brow of Micah Hall. What a shame that the research done on here at the time was (yet again) ignored and put down as the work of ignorant facking scummahs.
  24. This video is pretty good. The pendulum one looks good; the other two, less so.
  25. You have to take your hat off to Trevor Birch and his PKF flunkies on £500 per hour. It would take an enormous effort to make the PDT bid look any more disaorganised and amateurish than it already does. And yet Tricky Trev has achieved just that in just 5 minutes in court! Hats off Trev. £3M in fees and still counting, fantastic work. And supposedly asking for a 28 day adjournment; thus meaning Pompey enter the transfer window unable to purchase anyone, and unable to offer anything more than 1 month contracts (with the uncertainty of the PDT actually never taking over). Although to be fair, given their players' disatrous performances today despite their over-inflated pay packets, you'd have to wonder which other club would be mental enough to pay that much for overpriced cr*p. So they may just be alright in that regard!
