We won a cup competition but finished fourth in the league, not sure I can tally your assessment there. Would be great if Bristol City could miracle themselves into the top league though. Consistent colouring means no colour grading. The one you posted has lots of shadowing and various gradients of colours. A badge these days needs to be solid blocks of colour, not all ranges of the spectrum.

Nice enough but modern badges require consistent colouring, and that isn’t that. Plus I just prefer ours to that.

This conversation has been had many times over the years. Some like the badge, some hate it, others in between. Me, I quite like it. It’s cartoonish but it’s entirely unique and people know who it is when they see it. Show me a better version by mockup (and there is enough online AI that will do it) and I might change my mind. For now I’m perfectly happy with what we have.

It’s akin to bemoaning the fact the we target players like VVD, Mane etc and they want to leave after a season or two because bigger clubs come in for them. ‘It’s unstable’. Much rather have a season or two of a player well on the up than someone average who will see out his contract.

Disagree with THB. £25m is nothing these days for a young CB who has represented England setups for many years and graduated with a first team bow. I’d even be surprised if he hasn’t already got a move lined up. Dibling will hinge on price but I imagine many clubs will be sympathetic to how much of a shambles our season is, and that he’s only recently turned 19. Saying that, I’d like to see him do a Grealish and give us a season at Championship level. We shall see.

You will be astonished if Ramsdale, KWP, THB, Dibling and Fernandes get signed by PL clubs? Ok. I, on the contrary, will not.
